HOW TO HIDE & HOW TO EXPOSE???

Hope you all are doing good with strong Imaan...:hijabi:

Well, this time I got a practical doubt...

As some of you know that I am teaching in an Islamic Sunday school, I have started facing some difficulties with my students when I teach..:SMILY149:

I really don't wanna be a very strict teacher, but I always wanna do things with them in a norm and peaceful way, but you see.. when you get to know that some children in your class are lil stubborn its obvious that you too as a teacher would show a lil anger on them, right??:SMILY129:

so when I did the same, you know what they said to me????:shymuslima1:
"Teacher, if you don't know to become anger...plz don't try... 'coz we know that you love us a lot.." :SMILY309:

Whenever I show them my anger (actually pretend to be:tongue: ) they smile at me with an innocent face and giving stare, indicating that they know I am truly not angry on them:eek:

Oh my ALLAH!!!! they understand that I am pretending.......uf

NOW brothers and sisters, who have experience with children, tell me how do you hide your love and be lil strict on them? what is the procedure..???
HOPE INSHA ALLAH YOU ALL WILL HELP ME....:SMILY176:

So put it this way
v

I shall be stern and strict during this hour of teaching
~For Allah swt and to benefit the ummah~insya allah that should do it.

Then after class is over put a smile because it sadaqah~:ma:

Poor sister!

Seeking Allah's Mersy had it right...it IS funny! Many times I have tryed to put on the "I'm angry with you" face with my son. What does he do? Makes a "I'm too cute for you to be angrey with me" face.

The only thing to do is be consistant in your rules......and find the humor in the situation. Who knows, maybe you can ask THEM what they would do in this situation. Have them think through the consequences and find out the conclusion of certain actions. (Don't credit me! I read this in a parenting magazine)...you just might find that they can be "lead" to the reasons why something is wrong or needed to learn.

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu,

you have to set standards that is – In which manner you want the class to be run, how you want your student to out-perform ? and other sort of things. Those who are notorious can be made to sit aside and looked for the misconducts and misbehaviours. Then if necessary calling their mother parent to meet you for a discussion. As being teacher you can have (true) anger when needed and the students should feel the same perception. They must not laugh it away as pretence. It should come up naturally as a part of your behaviour and students find that its awesome to face that sometimes. That is you are the person who is in authority and students acknowledge the same with respect. You set high standards and expectations from the wards by knowing their individual capabilities and enthuse them with confidence for the same.

Teachers are expected to act in accordance with the time and situation for the students’s betterment. Good teacher set their own teaching schedules and follow it though how much students try to wax them because they know students do that to bunk up the classes and or to skip from the scheduled tests. being strict is far above than bashing, hitting or letting students down its just that not compromising with the set rules and standards.

- I hope that is useful

sisters its not funny i think sister faara really need help...........alhumdulillah i have got little training to teach children islam .... your problem is very simple as i have a big experience to tackle kids ...alhumdulillah my nephews and nieces rush on signal of my eyes not out of fear but out of love alhumdulillah my mother if ever got problem with them she ask me to to handle lol... never try to handle kids in plane way they will get you ;) their minds are super computers....as you witnessed ........:)
a kid who is making problem just ignore ...as if he or she is not present give attention to others but dont even look at him or her ..exploit their their emotions in positive way... kids have strong sense of jealousy try to be good to the kid (problematic one has a jealousy with)... try to drag them in a competition. you will seee they will get tracked ;) if it doesn't work then ask me again i will tell you something else but one trick at one time dont over doze :) :wasalam:

SHOW THEM WHO'S BOSS, SISTER!!

Naw tho I think you're really pleasant to those but,
when it comes to pushing the boundries they need to stop
because your a teacher to learn them, Allah loves those who have
knowledge and those who aren't lazy.

But if they talk over you give them warnings, if they don't do work give them
a count of minutes on detention, if they get it in their heads that your serious now by doing action instead of words, it MAY work! :shymuslima1:

Just putting it out how teachers here in the UK would do it.. :hijabi:

Hehehe wsalam sister, take care :blackhijab:
