Oh sister Queen.....
such a young lass you are and so cute ta boot!
1) I'm 38 years old so my baby making days are through, especially since I've asked for a divorce...but all that aside...
2) I said I HAD....not having. After the death of my daughter in utero (in the womb) from a chromosomal disorder called Trisomy 18, I gave birth to my son a week early (planned) at 9lbs 2.2 oz. I had gestational diabetes so I had to give myself shots in the stomach 3 times a day and test my blood sugar levels in my fingers 4 times a day.
3) I drank Coke every day I was pregnant. I switched to decaff coke tho because CAFFEINE isn't good for the baby.
4) Do you know what the chemical make-up of the human stomach is? Allow me to tell you THEN you can tell me if Coke is really all that bad...
Gastric acid is a secretion produced in the stomach. It is one of the main solutions secreted, together with several enzymes and intrinsic factors. Chemically it is an acid solution with a pH of 1 to 2 in the stomach lumen, consisting mainly of hydrochloric acid (HCl) (around 0.5%, or 5000 parts per million), and large quantities of potassium chloride (KCl) and sodium chloride (NaCl).
hydrochloric acid: It's used industrially to process steel, the material of choice for suspension bridges and cars and trucks. Hydrochloric acid is also used in the production of batteries, photoflash bulbs and fireworks. It's even used to process sugar and make gelatin.
Potassium Chloride:The majority of the potassium chloride produced is used for making fertilizer, since the growth of many plants is limited by their potassium intake. As a chemical feedstock it is used for the manufacture of potassium hydroxide and potassium metal. It is also used in medicine, scientific applications, food processing, and as a sodium-free substitute for table salt (sodium chloride).
Potassium chloride is used as the third of a three-drug combination in lethal injection. Additionally, KCl is used (albeit rarely) in fetal intracardiac injections in second- and third-trimester induced abortions.
Sodium Chloride: Table Salt..but it can be used in fire extinguishers and as road salt to melt ice to the production of lye....a highly caustic agent.
Do you really think a can of coke is going to harm a growing fetus? Nope.
