There were once some people
Who all saw their lives like empty boxes
They looked around the world
Collecting up the things they liked.

They filled their lives and boxes
With the goodies that they gathered
And they all felt in control
Content and they all felt alright.

They climbed inside their boxes
They settled with their trinkets.
They neither looked nor learned much more
And closed their lids up tight.

Once they fastened up their boxes
They smiled there inside
And they all thought in their darkness
That the world was clear and bright.

But the world is not a box
There’s no lid no doors
No cardboard flaps or locks

Is a piece of the puzzle of the purpose of man
It’s a piece of the peace of Islam.

Along came a wandering wiseman
Whispering such words of truth
He stumbled on these boxes
So separate side by side
He knocked upon the first one saying
Please come out and feel the day
An answer came from deep within
You’re not of us please go away

He approached the second box
And tapped twice on the lid saying
Peace to you inside
Shall I show you a new way
Someone peaked out from a crack and said
You may just have a point
But it’s so comfy in my box
In my box here I will stay

But the world is not a box

He stood before the final box
A hiding face peaked out to him
And much to his surprise
He said I recognise those eyes
I see you and you see me
Why not come out and be free
Faith and flowers wilt and die
If they are hidden from the sky.

All the prophets and you and I
Civilisations are born and die

Of the ignorance that burns

Than only casualties of war

If we have no faith to begin

And let some sunlight in

I was talking about her character brother. Please don't ignite the situation. The Niqaab is a great sign of piety and honour for Allah(swt) and her husband, who will know it is her? I think her video was really good, it dealt with situations every revert normaly goes through, becoming muslim, and parents not knowing, the will to learn, the feeling that Im not the only one. When I saw all those videos, I just said Mashallah.

I am very sorry to hear that you have been offended by people on this site. I don't even know who judged you and in what way. Please accept my apologies if in any way it was I that offended you. You are a sister in Islam and i understand that any of us can feel vulnerable at times. I am sure you are stronger in emaan than me, but I would still suggest that you please make dua to the Lord and pray in the late of hours of the night. InshAllah Allah will help as He always does. Verily there is relief after every difficulty. And it is only Allah who has the right to judge, so if possible forgive the ignorant.

While we are all waiting for her to respond, maybe we should be considerate of her requests and take her video off?? It is a video of her, and even though it could benefit other people, I think its her choice.

Your video was an insperation to me. I admire your strength and courage. If you want to remove the video its your choice but please dont be mad. There are ignorant people everywhere. Just think of it this way that what they say about you is there opinion and Allah is aware of your niyya (intention). Thats how I take other people's comments about me. Getting mad is waisting our time. Find peace in Quraan sister I always do, no matter whats the situation is.

well first of all, I think every one need to be considerable when they answering or advising anyone, some people really get carried a way and start imposing thier opinions on others, I know some of you will say its Allah .s.w.t order, but I think first of all we need to learn how we do the advise before we start judging and commanding people to follow this and that.

Some people spend so much time looking in to others mistakes, that they forget to check them self and if they follow all the rules of Allah s.w.t.

Rasul Allah, sal Allah alayhi wa sallam, said, "Anyone who
believes in Allah and the Last Day (of Judgment) should not harm
his neighbor. Anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day
should host his guest generously. And anyone who believes in
Allah and the Last Day should say what is good or keep quiet."
- Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 47


#2 Sister your video for sure will help others and inspire them to learn about Islam, beside its posted on google so even if we remove it, it will listed on google.

#3 People who try to talk about the sister being in the video without hijab I think you better not watch the video, its not you who will judge her its in hand of Allah s.w.t. and before any one judge her did you look into your self and see if you are following every order of Allah s.w.t! if not then its better we spend time to correct our self before we start worrying about others.
