El salam aleykom,
I am a 25 years old french and moroccan sister who wears el hijab since 3 years. I am married since about 2 years now and I have a simple life el 7amdolilah. I am studying psychology since 3 years..
Well, actually, u may say by reading that " and then ? .." In fact, except my tender husband, my parents, and a few cousines so far away from me, I haven't any friends, anyone to talk to, to have and consider as a real mate.Even though i know somepersons at university, it s the same, and everyday, from many many years, i m suffering from being alone. I am someone very shy and smetimes, i easily loose my confidence but i did try to make friends, and go ahead by meeting other sisters..Here in France, sisters are a little " closed" well it s not easy to come and say " hi im a sister and i need a friend are u ookay to become one of them "..Since a few months, I have decided to move to the uk with my husband whose there now. I m gonna go to him soon inshalah when I ll complete this year. All I hope is to find a sister kind and modest and as simple as i am as honest as i am just to share great moments between sisters as friends do and to break this loneliness that is really affecting me so much
Why have I mentionned converted muslim girls ? simply cause i just watched many videos about girls and women,..who turned in islam and i found there a kind of common point with me : after the 1st step of wearing hijab, many of them feel alone to face their new lives and even mosques, and conferences and many other opportunities are there to help us to break this, it s hard to feel alone and go forward without any friends..
Jazakom Allah kheir we el salam aaleykom dear sisters
