is dua Qunut necessary in witr prayer?

muslims have different Qunut dua's in their prayers. eg. in ramadan, we include present day problems also.

so is Qunut Dua compulsory for witr prayer to be valid?

Du'a qunoot is recommended to be recited in the Witr prayer. The Witr prayer, according to Imam Abu Hanifah is wajib (obligation). The other Imams consider the Witr prayer as Sunnah Mu'akkadah. It can be offered after the Isha prayer right up to the break of dawn. Below is a collection of the various du'a qunut that may be recited.

thank you brother for your question because i have similar question always comes to my mind.

In my local mosques in some of them they have qunut dua at subihi selat and in some of them not? and also some people don't say ameen too.

is it Permitted or not at subhi selat ? and why the people also don't say ameen, so i am confused.

No ulema of Ahlus Sunnah have said that Qunoot subuh is bi'dah. But the opinion that there is no qunoot suboh seems to be the right opinion.

So if the imam does qunoot subuh, you just stand up straight without raising your hands or saying ameen. When imam does sujood , then you do sujood too...
