World has gotten to know so much about “Taliban”, especially after the horrific tragedy referred as 9/11 that served to perish the lives of more than 3000 innocent human beings in the United States of America. Ever since then, world media highlights any news about “Taliban”, a regime that operated in war-torn country of Afghanistan at the time United States of America in particular and the world in general was awestruck with the tragedy of 9/11.

Assalamu Alaikkum wa rahamatullahi wa barakatuhu,

Without doubt, Islam is in favor of female education. The Prophet SAW's wives, the mother of believers were one of the most knowledgeable and respected people of their society. Aisha (R.A.) were one of the few people who had memorized most of the hadiths.

Assalaam walaikum.

And exactly when did this happen. The Taliban have nothing to do with 9/11. Every American knows that.
What does 9/11 have to do with this post. The site you linked in in the US; they are tutors...

Please let me know the facts when you can about 9/11...

if women are not educated, how they will recite Quran and read hadiths? how they will understand Allah and Islam more deeply?

when we see some religious people talking against women's education, its because of the environment. the fitnahs brought upon society by young men and women studying together and then working together (affairs, women abandoning their homely duties, etc).

What about the lives of 300,000 innocent afghans and the lives of over 1.5 million innocent iraqis? Are the lives of the 9-11 worth more than theirs?

Taliban (students), we've to be clear that they are not representing Islam if they do wrong thing which is not approved by Islam. Why single out Afghanistan? Women in other Islamic countries not only being educated some are holding high profession.

Right. People need to understand that many of the things that the Taliban do are not just un-Islamic, but not humane. No religion supports denying women an education.

Yes Islam is in strong favor of female education. Education/knowledge has and is, always Islam's core strength. Mother is first teacher and best of teachers.

Prophet:saw: said:
Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ashari: The Prophet said, “He who has a slave-girl and teaches her good manners and improves her education and then manumits and marries her, will get a double reward; and any slave who observes Allah’s right and his master’s right will get a double reward.” [Bukhari]

It is the duty of every Muslim man and every Muslim woman to acquire knowledge [Ibne Majah]

“Acquire knowledge, it enables its professor to distinguish right from wrong; it lights the way to heaven. it is our friend in the desert, our company in solitude and companion when friendless. it guides us to happiness, it sustains us in misery, and it is an ornament amongst friends and armour against enemies.” [Widely Attributed to Prophet]

From Prophet:saw: words (authentic source) even a slave girl is to be educated! So its always been there for last 1500 years for the current Ummah.

My mother thought me Alphabet A and she is proud about her parents giving her education. And her mother (my granny) is proud about her parents sending her to school, nearly 80 years before! Most muslims all over world read Quran, have a good knowledge of Deen and thats not possible without education. Period.
