Nuuh's(Noah's) flood

Noah's flood account is a very interesting read.I will not delve into the reasons behind the flood.Nevertheless it points to something about the power of God here on earth.
The power of God on earth is not infinite and is function or is dependent upon man's thinking and action.

As long as man will agree to what God tells him.God retains His power.

The day mankind fails to agree with God completely ,God will loose dominion and the unexpected will happen.God will become something else.

Therefore,God will never allow that to happen.

This is why the flood came. There was danger that the number of people agreeing with God could decrease.

Two questions arise:-
1.How can God be Omnipotent and Omnicient at the same time.
2.Does God rule mankind or does He motivate/advise.

His power is infinite. He doesnt need any advice of any of His creation.

if we obey Him, He will not be displeased with us.

Asalamu Alakum ;)

Ahmm- what do you mean by Allah (SW) will turn into something else? AstagfirAllah- it doesn't sound right. Please explain what you mean brother.

And bro Arzafar- let's not put the "feeling sorry" part out so openly- it kind of sounds offensive. :p

Salam :D

Prayer is not informing God what He does not know but rather agreeing with Him.In His Ominiciency he already has all the information.
Every dua or salat should subscribe to this simple spiritual principle.

Many people think that God does rule the creation. He doesn't ,creation rules creation.Otherwise it's difficult to explain why many afflictions face the Ummah:
You have never heard any King/President let His subjects starve or are attacked /maimed.

1.The present palestinian crisis.
2.The Pakistani flood.

Ruling of all creation can only begin after Al Qiyamah(Day of Judgment).
@rightpath_357 I can explain this to great length.
Ram(Shiva's Incarnate) lost his wife to some guy .
Jesus Christ(Incarnate) was crucified.

Asalamu Alaikum

Ohh, okay. NOW I get what you mean. But I'm afraid I disagree with it. Allah (SW) is the All-Knowing, everything is PLANNED to happen. It's a horrible misunderstanding to assume that creation rules creation. How do the flowers bloom then? How do animals breed? How does the rain fall? These can be defined by science, because Allah (SW) has made it so. And, let's not forget that the power of those people has been given to them as a test by Allah (SW). It's also a test to the people under the rule, and they who are righteous will be rewarded, and those who are evil will be Punished. May Allah make it so.

Dear brother/sister c.quest,

What sister rightpath has said is correct and I would like to give you a very good advice. The capacity of the human brain is limited and can not perceive a lot of things, especially those related to Allah's rule one us, His existence, etc. These type of topics are beyond the highest limitations of mankind, so it is best that you do not spend any time on these things and rather concentrate on increasing your Imaan through seeking knowledge and implying it (with the right intention ofcourse). Do remember that you are most likely to get confused and the shaytan will take advantage of such situations and he will try to deviate you from the straight path. May Allah, The Most High, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful, The Most Forgiving, Forgive us all and Guide us to the Straight Path.
