Mash'Allah, thank you for answering about Witr Brother. yes is wonderful to try to keep this good habit. I was praying to Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala to give me strength to get up for Tahajjud and started by making effort just on Friday mornings, middle of night, make 2 rakat and witr then go back to bed until Fajr call to prayer because is Holy day.
I was not used to getting up very early to pray so every night at Isha prayer would pray to Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala to give me energy to rise for Tahajjud and Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala knows best and then one night Suban'Allah awoke with much energy and everyday now feel this prayer cannot miss so set alarm and wake up.
At first was waking at same time each morning but then last week felt more groggy so set my alarm to make sure and get up and then when feeling tired this past week on waking in bed pray dua first the waking dua giving Praise to Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala for giving life after causing to die then dua O Allah, I seek refuge in you from hardship, inaction, laziness the burden of debt and the influence of evil people.
Suban'Allah the dua of inaction and laziness pushes me out of bed as prayer is sweeter then sleep, as my spirit cries this, sometimes my body doesn't agree, but asking Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala to make my spirit stronger to overpower my body, Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala is the strength. Insha'Allah this never stops, is very beautiful feeling to pray extra time in early morning hours. This helps to sleep soon after Isha prayer, Alhamdulillah can then wake up easier. When in need of energy and somewhere can not close eyes for 10-20 min nap to refresh, dua to ask Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala for strength to stay awake gives that refresh.
Now as time for Isha gets later and Fajr will become much earlier Insha'Allah waking will still be easy an hour or half hour before Fajr for Tahajjud. Suban'Allah the time will begin to go backward again after Ramadan which will make for easier rising each month as more rest will be given between Isha and Fajr. And Allah Subana wa Ta'ala knows best for each of us when we make dua. Fi Aman Allah
