Allah is sufficient.
When you desire good things of life, and what you desire is halal, working hard to get it will not be stressful.
Rule No 1: What you desire must be halal. If your desire is to be wealthy in order to help the Cause of Allah and not to oppress others, working hard for it will not be stressful. It may be tiring, but will not be stressful. Same with knowledge. Seeking knowledge to better humanity will not be stressful, even if you burn the candles at both ends, but seeking knowledge to oppress others will be.
Rule No 2: Enjoy what you do. When you work 19 hours a day nonstop - 19/7 at what you like, you see it as fun and stressfree. But if it is something you do bacause A did it and got wealthy or famous doing it without defining your capability and interest, you may work 7 hours a day Monday to Friday and end up being exhausted and stressed out.
Rule No 3: Plan your strategy. The Prophet did not not wake up one day and embarked on the Hijra. He took time to plan for it, otherwise the Quraysh would have foiled the attempt. Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.
When you do what Allah commands, and refrain from what He prohibits, whatever result you get will give you a sense of tranquility and contentment.
