THE ADVERSE INFLUENCE OF PORK CONSUMPTION ON HEALTH

Pork is one of the foods that Allah makes unlawful in the Qur’an. A true Muslim will demonstrate determination in abiding by Allah’s commands and prohibition even if he is unaware of the wisdom behind them. But if Allah so wills He can also show us the wisdom behind the things He has prohibited. The recent rapid rise in cases of swine flu, a lethal disease, is one of the reasons why the eating of pork is unlawful.

i dunno how people can have them .

well if Allah frobids something,then there must be a good reason behind it..now everyone is afraid of eating pork due to h1n1...whatever Allah forbides is for our own good.If we go against His rules,then we will "pay" for it...in dunya(world) or in hereafter

So why Allah created pigs? A friend of mine who has relative in one neighbouring country shared with me that some 20 years ago there were no enough public toilets in this city where he often visits his relative, so the local ppl "release their tension" everywhere that convenient to them. And it is strange that there are many wild boar roaming in the city...he said these wild boar will eat these thing and "help" cleaning-up the city by right the city council suppose to do. Maybe this was one reason Allah created this dirty animal.

I have no problem with Allah's commandments at all, it is nice to see others realizing that it was commanded for them to keep away from it.

Side note:

Bird flu is still Bird flu, Mad Cow is still Mad Cow, but the swine/pig flu had to be changed by the media. Because media sells information to an audience, and the audience being swine eaters were upset that it was swine flu so they named it H1N1 flu, to ease their feelings and scare.

There goes to show you what is truth, is sometimes covered up or disguised.
