this is veyr easy, but most of us do not care...subuhaanallah

Travelling towards my grave.
assalam 'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh my dear brothers and sisters who read this message.

It is recorded that Rasoolullah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) said that if two people meet and greet each other, Allah (subuhaanahu wata'aala) will forgive their sins before they leave each other.

Also once he(sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) asked his companions whether he should tell them something which will increase love between thm.The companions said Yes O Rasoolullah. Then he (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam)said to spred Salam among themselves.

Saying Salam with a smile is a Sadaqa. If we give Sadaqa in terms of money or any other valuble item, we all try to give the best we can. However........

Why most of the times are we just saying Salaam, ASAK or dont even ming to say Salam or return it? When returning, most of the times we say Wassalam, V Salam or something like that. Allah (subuhaanahu wata'aala) says in Noble Quran. And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet with a better (greeting) than it or return it; surely Allah takes account of all things.[4.86]

Therefore brothers and sisters, we need to move to a better way leaving out the ways we practice now. When a brother/sister greet us with Assalam 'Alaikum why we cannot greet back with Wa'alaikumussalam OR Wa'alaikumussalam Warahmatullah OR Wa'alaikumussalam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh? Or why we cannot greet to our brothers and sisters by saying Assalam 'Alaikum OR Assalam 'Alaikum Warahmatullah OR Assalam 'Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh?

Also we need to note that saying Assalam 'Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Warahmatuhu Wamaghfiratuh is clearly a Bid'ah (innovation) in to Islam according to the respected 'Ulama of the Ummah which is not allowed in Islam.

I am sorry if this offends ANY brother or sister as that is clearly not my intention. I just wanted to point out this because we can maximise the benefit if we keep these small things in mind. To say it fully, will it take a lot of time? I dont think so, although some of us may try to point out that also.

If we try to make our greetings and other deeds short, fear that Allah (subuhaanahu wata'aala) may make our reward list short. May Allah (subuhaanahu wata'aala) make every single deed of us a way which makes us near to Jannah.

wassalam 'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

BaarakAllah feek to all the brothers and sisters.

I also want to add something to this. That is, some of us says we do not have to greet when we meet next time if that is very soon after we met last time. For example if we are in the same thread in which we have greeted when we posted our first post.

That is not the best way brothers and sisters. The great Sahaba (may Allah subuhaanahu wata'aala have mercy on them all) of Rasoolullah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) used to greet each other even if they meet on one side of a tree and if they meet again on the other side just after the previous meeting. They used to greet each other with happiness. This is how we should be. This is how we should grow our children. This is how we are different from others.

Assalamu alaikom wa rahmatullah wa burrahktohu,

Ma'shAllah a very beneficial reminder for us all. Alhamdulillah, Allah has made this easy for us too, because He encourages us to extend the greeting even rewrding us for being the first to do so & reminds us that we shouldn't do so expecting a greeting in response, we do so for the sake of Allah & the returned greeting is an additional blessing which does truly increase love.

Ma'shAllah jazak alak khairun wa barak Allah feekom for spreading wisdom
walaykom salam wa rahmatullah wa burrahktohu
