To whom are you complaining???

No God but Allah
The complaint of the ignorant

Imam Ibn Al-Qaiem said in his book "Al Fawa'ed":

The ignorant one is that who complains God ( Allah ) to people.

That is the extreme ignorance of the complained from ( Allah) and the complained to ( people).

If he had known his God, he wouldn't have complained Him to people. And if he had known people, he wouldn't have complained to them from God!!!!

Someone of the Salaf saw a man complaining his poverty and lack to another man. He said " Oh, you, I swear you did nothing more, but you complained the One who is merciful for you ( Allah ) to the one who can't have any mercy for you.

The wise and the knowledeable one is that who complains to Allah.

The wisest and the most knowledgeable is the one who complains to Allah from himself ( his sins), not from the people.

By doing that; he complains from his sins that make him deserved to be harmed and oppressed by people.

He, then is aware of Allah saying " 2) أَوَلَمَّا أَصَابَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَدْ أَصَبْتُم مِّثْلَيْهَا قُلْتُمْ أَنَّى هَذَا قُلْ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ أَنْفُسِكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

165 (What is the matter with you?) When a single disaster smites you, although you smote (your enemies) with one twice as great, you say: "From where does this come to us?" Say (to them), "It is from yourselves (because of your evil deeds)." And Allah has power over all things.

Ash-Shura, Chapter #42, Verse #30

30 And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much. (See the Quran Verse 35:45).

There are three degrees regarding that:

The lowest is when you complain Allah to His creation.

The highest is when you complain yourself to Allah.

The midst is when you complain His creation to Him.

Your right. Ibn Alqaiem is a very unique scholar. He has great wisdom and knowledge as well.

Thank God that my humble translation could convey the same meaning he aimed to.
