TTI is making me upset

:salam2:

So I posted a video about Mathematical proofs in the Quran http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3HNnqGOyoU&feature=related

And that got deleted ? WHY ? Is there an Anti-Islamic organization operating behind TTI ? This is what someone said before they deleted it
We have to be aware and careful of such claims of Qur'aan "Miracles", because although they seem amazing and miraculous, we have to actually look into if there is a basis in these ideas, and if any such correlation was made by the scholars of Islaam or the pious predecessors of the past who were well versed and knowledgeable in the Qur'aan.

If there is evidence and it is backed by solid proof, then alhamdulillah we take it, but this issue with counting certain words like day, or sea in the Qur'aan and putting them together to find equality, balance or importance was brought about as a new idea, and has in fact been discussed previously on the forum.

Please refer to the thread regarding it before inshaAllaah and it should provide further insight: Miracles in the Qur'aan!

May Allaah bless you for your good intentions in posting, and guide us all to what is correct. Ameen

Did they even watch the video? Bros/sis Watch the video for yourselves and decide If all that that is shown in the video is some kind of coincidence.

Did you even test this out before posting? Even this one has been debunked. Do your research and look for the thread. Instead of posting a video which claims these figures, a detailed account with proofs (such as the verses in which these words are) is needed. We are not sheep who follow every miracle of Islaam that a Muslim claims, we need details. How many times has some joker popped up and made miraculous claims, and when put to the test, his lies get exposed?

As Muslims, we should be a lot more concerned, and verify claims just as Allaah has commanded us. What good is there in posting figures which as far as we are aware, aren't confirmed, and then ranting and accusing us because we delete it?

Assalamualikum.

Who know the Quran better?Muhammad pbuh.If he pbuh didn't mentione anything about the miracles according to numbers, then why would we bother?

Do not believe everything you see in internet.I guess people have too much time in their hand to analyse those so called miracles.

Why not use the time wisely by memorising Quran or do dawah?

Even if those so called numerical miracles in Quran is authentic...So what?

Is that gonna change anything?or is it gonna make the whole world accept Islam? The answer is no and it is not gonna make any difference. When you deal with numbers, people can easily argue and debate.

The whole sky, stars, moon and Allah's Creation are Miracles and evidence for His existence. We do not need to add anything or substract anything.

Islam is perfect as it is and we just need to follow what has been ordered by Allah The Exalted in Quran.

And Allah The Exalted knows the best.

Assalamualikum.

wa 'alaykum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

Firstly, since I am the "someone" you've been so kindly referring to, I'd like to clarify the fact that, yes your video was deleted but the thread remained. The reason being? Like I mentioned in my post at the end, these claims which are put forth in the video are unsubstantial. None of the 'Ulama have backed these claims, none of them teach it in their classes, so why would we want to spread them amongst the people?

One thing we have to remember, is to not look at the eloquence or beauty of somethings appearance, rather the correctness of its contents. Many people can make a nice video, many people can publish researches, many people can do so much but that does not mean that what they say or write is correct!

In accordance with this, I didnt want people to blindly look at the video (which I did watch), rather than what was stated from others who had knowledge about the matter - namely that the method in which this numerical "miracles" were placed isn't correct. If you to look at the link which I posted, perhaps that would become clear.
Again you can find it here: http://www.islamqa.com/en/ref/69741

SubhanAllaah ALL of the Qur'aan is a miracle, so we should take it as such. Allaah did not make the Qur'aan out of 'coincidence', rather each word is exactly where and how it should be. It is just the analogies and deductions of humans in this case which is incorrect.

Please look into it akhi before making such vague and sweeping comments with absolutely no basis such as "Is there an Anti-Islamic organization operating behind TTI ?"

that number theory is fake. they selected the words such that it fitted the criteria for the theory to work. Muslims don't need to be so desperate looking for miracles in the Quran so as to lie about it's contents.

If I remember correctly, even a search on how many times 'men' appears, you see it contradicts those nonsense statistics. May Allaah punish those who lie about His book, aameen! They want to boast miracles of Islaam and the Qur'aan, and lie upon Allaah in the process...

salamu alaykum

that is why the verses in the Quraan are called "ayyaat" which in arabic means "proofs, signs, miracles..etc". The entire Quran itself is a proof, a miracle which is sent to the whole mankind to follow, ponder about, believe in it and it is a challange to the disbelievers to bring a like of it if they can. To the extent that Allah challanges them to bring a just one verse like it. To this day, no one has ever been able to do so.

Allah knows best

:salam2: Brothers and Sisters,

To some of us it might be a small issues and we might even think that it shows Islam in a positive light.

However, all deviations start small.

And particularly the "Numerical Miracle of Quran" even has a history of deviation so we need to be super-extra careful

It was famously proposed by a person named Rashaad Khalifa, He proved that 19 was the Key to Quran. And showed how the letters repeated in Surah were divisble by 19 etc.

Many Muslims including some Callers to Islam like Ahmed Deedat were very happy. Infact, Ahmed Deedat (May Allah have Mercy on him) even published a book on it!

Later on someone found that Surah 'Noon' was actually not divisible by his Key of Quran and there was one 'Noon' less.

So he audaciosly declared that Quran had been altered.
And the first Noon in the begining of the Surah should actually be 'Noon' 'Waw' 'Noon' instead of just 'Noon'. Just because it didnot fit into his theory of Mathematical Miracle of Quran!

Later on he claimed many many more Verses were altered and became a Big Deviant claiming him to be Mehdi first then even a Prophet!

Alhamdulillah! School Kids from Minaret School in Riyadh refuted his complete Theory and it is Published in Dr. Bilal Phillips book
