Why Muslims can not wear "Nike" products?

I know why, and everything, but it's rediculous. We are not intending to symbolise anything, it's just a little cloth with a logo on it. Anyhow, it's the intention that counts.

Some Muslims need to lay back a bit, we have to consider the situation. Islam is an easy religion.

This is my opinion (after I acctually thought about it). :salam2:

I'm inclined to agree with your opinion. Most people I know have no clue that Nike was a Greek goddess and they certainly don't think about that when they put on a pair of Nike shoes or see someone wearing them.

I'm not saying you should wear Nike shoes if you don't think it's right but...I guess, just don't take it so seriously or judge people who do?

I have always heard that NIKE stands for:
No
Islamic
Kingdom on
Earth..

People say that it is a jewish product that is why we have to buoycott it....Thats just something that I have heard.. No evidence for this.

as-salamu alaikom dear brothers & sisters,

As far as i know, we're advised not to wear Nike products, bec at one time the company used to write the word " Allah" at the back of the shoes so that people would tread on it. :astag: I even saw this in a magazine and I don''t think it's simply bec it's the name of a Greek goddess. And Allah knows best.
