Wa 'alaykkumus salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, barakAllaahu feeki for sharing a much needed reminder. La ilaha illAllaah, there is none worthy of worship except Allaah. How will it be for the believing soul when the book will be given in his right hand? How joyful would this soul be? Bright will be his face, and he will be laughing and rejoicing at good news as Allaah mentions in Soorah 'Abasa. In soorah Inshiqaaq, Allaah says that this person will return to his people in joy. O' how how happy will this soul be?
Allaah, subhaanah says:
" Then as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand will say: 'Take, read my Record!'
'Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my Account!'
So he shall be in a life, well-pleasing. In a lofty Paradise, the fruits in bunches whereof will be low and near at hand.
'Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you in days past! '"[ Soorah al Haaqqah:19-24]
It was reported in the sahih from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allaah :saw2: said: Allah will bring the servant close (to Him) on the Day of Judgement and make him confess all of his sins. This will continue until the servant thinks that he is about to be destroyed. Then Allah will say, "Verily, I have concealed these sins for you in the worldly life and I have forgiven you for them today.'' Then he will be given his Book of good deeds in his right hand. However, about the disbeliever and the hypocrite, the witnesses will say, ("These are those who lied on their Lord, and verily, the curse of Allah is on the wrongdoers.'')
Let us turn our faces towards our Lord, and let our hearts tremble in fear and seek refuge in Allaah from recieving the book in our left hand. The soul who recieves the book in his left hand will be covered in darkness. Their faces dust stained as mentioned in Soorah 'Abasa. This is the soul that will invoke destruction upon itself. This is the soul that turned away from Allaah, the Most High, in this dunya. This is the soul whose entertainment will be the fire of Hell. O' how bad is the condition of the soul that recieves the book in his left hand?
Allaah. 'azza wa jall says:
" But as for him who will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: 'I wish that I had not been given my Record! And that I had never known how my account is! Would that it (death) had been my end!'
'My wealth has not availed me; "My power has gone from me!'
(It will be said): 'Seize him and fetter him; Then throw him in the blazing Fire. Then fasten him on a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits!'"[Soorah al Haaqah: 25-32]
