Young kid leads Salah!

Amr Ibn Salama (may Allah be pleased with him) led his people in prayer when he was six or seven years old.You dont need to hit puberty to lead the prayer - Fiqh us Sunnah

i don't pray behind some one who has not passed puberty. we have been taught like this, i may be wrong but i would appreciate if some one supports this video with proofs from qura'an and sunnah..

Assalamou Alikom Warahmatou Allah,

There is no general consensus on this issue and there is no evidence from Qur'an and Sunnah that explicitly prohibits that a young boy leads Al'Salat.

In contrary, there is evidence toward that consisting in the Hadith narrated by Aamr Ibn-Salamah who lead Al'Salat when he was a 7 years Old boy.

Al-imam Al-Shafii allowed that especially if the boy knows well Qur'an and Sunnah better than anybody older than him.

Al-imam Malek disliked (even prohibited) that a boy leads Salat Al'Farida.

Concerning imam Abu Hanifa and Ahmad there is no general consensus on what they said about that.

I meant Abu Hanifa instead of Al'Shafii. My mistake !

Bro, I was taught this too. But if the companion lead the prayer when he was 6 or 7 then I take that as evidence. No problem here
