  • as salaam alaikum bhai,

kya haal chaal hain aapke? :) aapki madad chahiye, apke posts se mehsoos hua ki aap salafi way ke baare mein kaafi jaante hain mashallah. i have 2 q's.

in hanafi school, we have 2 types of makruh: tanzihi and tahrimi. do salafis also see in this way?

also for salah to be valid, we have to recite surahs and all others invocations by moving the lips (some also say that we shd be able to hear it with our ears if there is silence), otherwise the salah is invalid. can u throw some light on it?

    Allah hafiz
Yes it was Fares `Abbaad. I do not know the reason why he was recommended, but thats what some of the raaqis recommend.

Sorry, I didn't mean to dodge your questions about the Da`wah, its just that I forgot that you even asked that question lol, apologies akh.

As for the Da`wah then there are so many different things that our brothers do here locally. Every week they put da`wah stalls outside our masjid, high street, a nearby shopping centre (or mall or whatever you guys call them). Brothers organize lectures nearly once every two weeks or so with students of knowledge giving the lecture, also courses are organized etc. And like once in a year or so, a massive conference is organized too, and we thank Allaah to have enabled us to do such activities, and we hope that Allaah Subhaanah accepts our efforts and actions.
    Wa `alaykkum salaam wa rahmatullaah

Oh lol no that was not my friend, rather it was a brother who posted on this forum (it is a forum moderated by a few raaqis). And he said that there. Anyhow, my close friend did tell me that his close friend [and this brother was being man handled by his evil shaykh (who is a saahir) and he did not know that for so many years and used to help him practise out his sihr (thinking it is righteous actions)]. My friend said that they took him to a local Raaqi here in London, and they had to hold him down real tight, and he was getting very aggressive. So aggressive that his shoulders got fractured (while the brothers were holding him down) and he did not even feel the pain from that fracture, until after the ruqyah, wAllaahu must`aan

But whatever the case, how have you been my brother??? Uhibuku fillaah *smile*
Jazakallah for that! I see it's associated with Al-Farooq, which is the largest Masjid in Atlanta, complete with Minarets :) This has been beneficial to me, insha Allah I can get to know some of those sisters and finally get involved.

Thank you so much for your efforts my respected brother.

    Allah hafiz :)
akhi i try my best to be a good example ad be careful.i do have some weak stuff in me.and i avoid telling ppl wht i don't do myself, coz i don't feel comfortable.things cross my mind and i feel guitly and all and it's lot of mess.this being a good example drives me up the wall sometime too but rarely alhumdulillah.

inshallah i'll get good at it.and i delayed the things coz here on my Qing i find i'm lacking a lot.keep me in your prayers.ameen to the duas you made wa iyyaki.

when you get time can you post me the link to those vids coz i get limited time at TTI and alot is to be done.like anytime.i'm in no real hurry:)
    jazakallah khairan again.
    :salam2:wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

    jazakallah khairan akhi.
firstly as usual a Q:the woman is pure punjabi sort so won't she think i'm crazy if i say hello:confused:she'll think i abused her!!or something.

okay now to the advice.i really enjoyed it but i wish i'd get some step by step guidance.yes sister revert is going to be the main target but the more the better inshallah so i asked you too.
i wasn't criticising her to make her feel offended.that was my first time.i just did it on a sudden inspiration and then my head started spinning, although things could have been better i'm happy they were neutral not worse as they should ahve been.but that made me to think i needed to prepare mentally and skillfully.i am planning alot of things but want to get the best equippment first inshallah.
    jazakallah khairan akhi.i'm fine alhumdulillah

about giving her dawan i tried once when mu mom wasn't around.may be coz i don't feel comfortable when the rest of my family hears what i'm say.she refused and instead started telling me about her bible.i listened and ask Qs to which she had no answers.she said she's not educated so she doesn't kno if the flaws i mentioned are in her book or not.it wasn't heated.the only achievement:)!!she asked me referances which i had in english so i wasn't sure her kid would kno this much english not to mention i was ashamed of sharing with her what was in her book.bad stuff.so bath wahi ki wahi reh gai!
she old and i think my mother is in a better position to give dawah to her but i kno my mother.she's too shy to do that.

if you have some advice for me akhi.i'd appreciate it.some experience regarding such situtions.anything??i'm kind of new in this field and i don't know excatly how to approach a non muslim with the msg.
    :salam2:wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

hope you are fine and well rested akhi.i have to remind you you got homework to do:).
