nope winters are great, and unless i'm very much mistaken i read a hadith saying they are blessed. since the days are short: easy for fasting. and the nights are long. easy for tahajjud+sleep=)seeee winters are Wonderful.W for winters, W for wonderful=)unlike S for summers, S for silly, stupid, sweaty and smelly^_^ . . .

Well, whichever place Allah has decided for you to study, I'm sure it will be in your best interest! Oh sis, I have had enough schooling. College and university- (I actually finished college when I was 19 years old).. still I don't have a lot of job experience, so I have to work my way up.. And my minor was finance, but I can't work in banks. So it's a bit complicated. But alhamdulillah! I'm fine as I am. I really don't have *that* much inclination for a job, you know what I mean, and will just work as long as I can keep busy and pitch in a bit. Sigh... please please make dua for me. Things are a bit tough on several levels in my life right now. Your book reading sounds GREAT! I loved English classes - they were always one of my favs.

Alhamdulillah, I am doing good. And the weather isn't turning *that* cold yet, so I'm great. And where I work, there's this really sweet cute muslimah as a student worker, haven't really talk to her that much yet, but she's awesome!! Hey ukhtiiiii, come over here to study!! Though, by the time you come, I'll proabably be gone since mine is just a three month job - I need to find a full time job after this. Pray for me please! I keep going through all these difficult phases, not that I mind, but still! Oooh, I love reading. What kiddie books are you reading? I mean, like Elementary level or middle school level/teenage type books? Hmmmm... Sounds fascinating!

Oooh, I love shopping, though it seems I'm always broke, lol.. But alhamdulillah, retail is a great way to gain experience - I've had my fair share of it in the past. InshaAllah, you'll learn a lot!
Any news from your books from KSA yet? I hope each evening when I come home that probably my books have arrived, but not yet - this is a fair test on my sabr, I say. I'm getting kind of anxious for them, hehe..

I'm sooo happy for you - of course it's expected for you to be happy when you get hired for the first job of your life. Hope you have a great experience working! May I ask what kind of job it is? I know other amish sisters who also converted to Islam alhamdulillah.

Well almost everyone in my community know about my conversion, but at first no one knew about it, because i still dressed the same just i started wearing a head covering completely around my hair & no one was bothered by it. My family took it harshly...not good at all. Alhamdulillah they are more accepting to me now.

Well my story is long, & no i didnt share it. I was going to the public library, and i was using the net there, & saw muslim woman & they interested me a lot, because they dressed modestly. So i did the research about who are they & why, but it's more then this sister. I will have to share my full story sometime insha'Allah.
