Asalaamu'Alykum,
Well before i continue this post, i have taken this from "Healing with the Medicine of the Prophet
by Imam Ibn Qayyim (May Allah have mercy on Him):
Imam Shaf'i (May Allah have mercy on Him:
Four matters shapren the mind power:
avoiding unecessary speech, using Siwak and sitting with righteous people and with the scholars.
Galinus was once told:
Excessive speech weaknes the mind and hastens old age.
I have left the other bits out, because some of it is irrelevant. Just increase your knowledge, read the Qur'an which will boost your vocabulary which will help you to communicate better and think on your feet more. I am not sure what else to add but Insh'Allah someone else will.
