Our family is in problem. One of our relatives, who is about 30 years old man, is now under the influence of bad Jinn.

He was polite, educated, and was working in a good job. However few years ago his behavior changed dramatically within a short period of time. He stops going to work and lost his job. He just eat and sleep whole day, every day. His behavior is rude. He does not like anybody and creates problems for everybody at home.

At the beginning we thought that he was suffering from some kind of mental problem. So we took him to different specialists but the problem continued.

Now we are suspecting it may be the influence of Satan Jinn. Please advice what we can do to cure him which is permissible in Islam. :jazaak:.

where that man lives?actually i know 2 men who treat such patients. they do this in the light of quran and sunnah.they are salafiz.u can snd me a PM and il reply u their contact nos.
and if all this is not possible then u know best treatment is sura-tul baqara,if that person cannot recite quran(i mean bcoz of his illness) then anyone of his relatives could do that or play a cassette of sura infront of him.
may allah make him well(ameen) LA BA'SA TUHOORN INSHALLAH

Akhi...I have been reading about causes of possession and such..and from my understanding..Jinn are able to overtake a Muslim...if he does not have strong Iman..practice..and/or sound Islamic conduct...

The weakness or absence of these three factors basically creates sort of a gap through which the Jinn can enter a human...

Here are a few questions for you to think about...

How was this brother's conduct of Ibadah?..Was it sound (according to Qura'an and Sunnah..free of Bida'a and such)?

Did he pray on time?..make dhikr..read Qura'an often?

Did he avoid haram?..did he repent often from any haram he committed?

Was he keen on Tahara (i.e. making ghusul..staying in a state of wudu'u as much as possible..etc.)?

These questions are not for you answer...as they are personal obviously..and I don't want to make you uncomfortable...but they are *points* for you *examine*...

Once you do that...it is best that you resort to a Shaikh..and ask him about Ruqya so you may understand it fully..and then review the case of the brother with him..so he may examine him as well..and perhaps perform Ruqya over him..should he fit the criteria of a possessed person..

The same conditions also apply to someone who falls under the influence of Sihr or Black Magic...and much of Sihr involves possession..so the two issues are inseparable...

It's really important that you refer to a Shaikh..after you check up on the matters I mentioned to you..and if the brother heals..inshallah...he should be advised to keep up with them for his own benefit in this dunya and the akhirah..

May Allah ease the distress of this brother..heal him..and protect him from all sorts of evil..and may his family remain patient and steadfast..Ameen

:wasalam:
