I wonder what the Chinese are doing,as I do not think they gonna let these marine gangsters try to eat alone with their sticks ...If they dare to step in and profit from the situation , every scholar should declare a Quitaal on them, they have no idea in what mess they are getting involved in, north Africans are not golf Arabs! No to Quadaffi but also a big no to American imperialism! The resources are for the people of Libya to develop and profit, not for the multinationals.

Report: US Special Forces Arrive In Libya

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
March 1, 2011

US Special Forces have reportedly landed in Libya to train anti-Gaddafi rebels as a western-backed coup d’état in the oil-rich nation nears, with British and French “defense advisors” also arriving to set up training bases in the rebel-controlled eastern region of the country.

According to a report in the Pakistan Observer, hundreds of special forces personnel from the US, Britain and France arrived on February 23 and 24 in “American and French warships and small naval boats off Libyan ports of Benghazi and Tobruk.”

The article states that the report was confirmed by a Libyan diplomat in the region, who said that “The three Western states have landed their special forces troops in Cyrinacia and are now setting up their bases and training centres,” in a bid to bolster rebel forces resisting Gaddafi’s militia in the surrounding region.

“The Western forces are reportedly preparing to set-up training bases for local militias set-up by the rebel forces for an effective control of the oil-rich region and counter any push by pro-Qaddafi forces from Tripoli,” states the report.

In addition, efforts to “neutralize” the Libyan Air Force are underway in a bid to stymie Gaddafi’s ability to rule from Tripoli if he manages to remain in power.

The US Navy has also confirmed that the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, which had previously been on pirate-hunting duty off the coast of Somalia, is now steaming towards Libya as tensions rise.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton publicly admitted for the first time yesterday that the United States was preparing to back anti-government rebels, despite Hafiz Ghoga, the spokesman for the newly formed National Libyan Council in the rebel controlled eastern city of Benghazi, warning that any “foreign intervention” would not be welcome.

“The rest of Libya will be liberated by the people … and Gaddafi’s security forces will be eliminated by the people of Libya,” Ghoga said during a news conference.

Meanwhile, ex-European representative for the Carlyle Group and former British Prime Minister John Major has become the latest to add his voice to the growing chorus of those calling for military intervention to oust Gaddafi.

Major backed, “Other Western leaders who are on the brink of ordering military action against Col Muammar Gaddafi amid fears that the Libyan dictator could use chemical weapons against his own people,” reports the Telegraph.

Current British Prime Minister David Cameron has also been busy setting the stage for a western-backed coup d’état, calling for a no fly zone to be erected over the country.

“If Col Gaddafi uses military force against his own people, the world cannot stand by. That is why we should be looking at a no-fly zone,” Cameron said. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov blasted the idea of a no fly zone as “superfluous,” instead signaling support for UN-backed sanctions.

On Friday, 40 influential neo-conservatives signed a letter to Barack Obama urging the President to “immediately” prepare military action to overthrow Gaddafi.

Any regime change achieved with the assistance of western nations will provide deeper access to a country that holds the largest amount of oil reserves in Africa and the tenth largest in the world, with a reserve to production ratio of around 66 years.

Also, there is a Facebook page calling for protests in Syria to oust Assad!

What is happening here? I'm reading that Israel/US are actually instigating to cause all these protests in middle east just so they can send troops over, like they already have.

May Allah help all of our brothers and sisters and the Muslim ummah, ameen!

Well about Syria it happened few days back during the Egyptian protest but it didn't get that much response. The Syrian Mukhabarat is more dangerous so might be people are scared and a large number of population (Allawis) back Assad.

I am worried now if that reports of US arrival are true then they are gonna make it another Afghanistan first support the uprising then disband it by calling it terrorists then attack them and claim everything.

Okay, what importance does it place during all these revolutions and uprisings whether his PhD thesis was plagiarized or not? That is not relevant at all.

Its amazing to see how US is warning their could be civil war. If any one noticed the western media has slowly shifted from calling the Protests to Rebels. I can see how the map is being charted out.

:salam2:grrrrrrr why do they have to get their fingers involved everywhere. They better stay out of this.Libya has boarder with a lot of other Muslim nations,Arab and African who are hungry and ready to fight and who are not appeased by oil revenues, like in the Gulf!these uncultured Bush descendents better know that, before they trigger a third world war.

Assalaam walaikum,

The US government is an imperial aggressive model. Manifest Destiny. I am waiting for the moment, Insha"Allah, any day now when the American people will demand an explanation and chase these morons out of office.

We are the most oppressed. We are so oppressed we remember little of freedom. More than any nation, the United States, needs a wake-up call. The people, luckily, are beginning to understand that we have been lied to for far too long. Our water is poisoned, we have hungry children, we have homelessness, in short we have so many domestic problems even the elite have to see.

Experts are saying the demise will be by the end of this year. I was on the road a little while back. At a gas station a good looking young man had a sign : Family in need. I was taken aback. He was handsome, young, and had an aura of wealth about him. His beautiful wife was sitting in their car with her head slightly bent, in shame. He seemed as if he were an executive not too far behind him.

So Brother, please understand it is the construct that has oppressed other nations, the idea, and so devilish as to kill their own.

The heart of America is with the people of righteousness.

I cant understand this talk of civil war, Libya only wants a end to the regime it seems that outside forces want this to happen but the Libyan pepole do not , they are more united to have afree and safe country, freedom of religion to be able to wear a beard, to go to pray in the mosque 5 times a day with out worrying that the security would not be knocking on their door to take them to prison, just because they say Lailahillah, they are a peaceful people , but when you are up against this brutality what are you suppoed to do , sit and let them slaughter you and your families???

How is Morocco managing to spend $5.3million a year in USA when they have so many poor people? More importantly, why? What are they lobbying for?
Assalam alaikum.
