what was your jummah khutbah about today? mine was about the need for fixing the problems of the ummah. it wasn't about blaming president bush or israel. the blame was put on ourselves. how many of us in this ummah have turned our backs against ALLAH SWT and how there is a need for us to make tawbah to ALLAH SWT so that the ummah can regain the great strength it once had.

Mine is about pilgrimage, he explains pilgrimage is not only about going to kaabah, but a journey to leave all the bad things as well.

during the khutbah, which was very fiery and motivational, we all could hear the loud sounds of thunder from outside because a storm was taking place in that area of new jersey. the thunder mixed with the khutbah made it very powerful. i felt as if ALLAH SWT was approving of this khutbah, which was about turning back to Him and bringing pride back to the ummah.

Asalaamu`alaykum

Ystdy khutbah was about 'khutbah' itself and its importance.

Many people miss out as they tink its nothing aslong as we get there for prayer etc no worries bout the talk. Anyhow u had to be there to gain the blessings aswell as benefitting from it.

Alhamdulillah
