Where are all the old members gone?
As being an old member myself, i feel lost without my old buddies..old brothers and sisters..where are thou..manifest yourselves...we're missing you out here..

The "old" one is still around. I am very busy with life stuff and my computer died. I have to fight with my sons for time until I can save enough to purchase a new one. I also need time to think and post good stuff. I am not going anywhere, yet.

Alhamdulileh YOU'RE back

I was surprised to come here and see my name there.

I was away for a few months and just came back recently. I needed a break.

I am fairly busy with school and the kids but do try to come every now and then...I am sad to say that I have been a bit disappointed with TTI lately since I've gotten back.

It seems that whenever someone post a new thread others are ready to pounce like waiting tigers...there is a lot of misunderstandings, accusations, and just plain heated debates for no apparent reason.

I think that people skim through threads without fully understanding the point the person is trying to make, then post a somewhat negative or accusatory comment and all the others just follow in line.

I posted one yesterday and had to ask for it to be deleted right away because I was completely misunderstood and it was about to snowball into a HUGE debate over Ahadiths for no reason. No one but Joannacyb and mirajmom got what I was trying to say. I think??

ANyway, you didn't ask all that did you?

Well, I am happy to see you back and I hope and pray that you are in the best of health and Imaan. May Allah shower you with mercy and blessings!

Oh I have not left TTI but yeah I have gone a bit passive because of the my work load. Internet is a virtual world, but the bond we share as Muslims can never be lost even if we die. This is a fleeting moment in our journey through eternity. Even if I have slowed down in my responses, I remember my brothers and sisters and make duas for all of you. Just remember us and the whole Ummah in your duas so that we can continue our duties and carry out our responsibilities as humble Muslims. just awaiting the reward in the Hereafter.

Clear cut points and questions raised, Subhan Allah. I am not pointing the finger to anybody but yes, there has been a rise in the number of arguments.

Masha Allah, The Management team comprising of the Admin Brother Mabsoot and the moderators are doing a great job. But the brothers and sisters who have joined lately or are members for sometime should realise the fact that debate or arguments with Muslims will not benefit you anything. If you see somebody is wrong in someway or the other, approach him (or her) in the way of Rasul Allah Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.

I dont even waste my time arguing or debating with non-muslims either. For what? I tell the truth, the fact with reasons, logic and common sense. Even after that he or she does not want to know learn about Islam then so be it. Remember that you will be accounted for what you have done in this life. Even if you continue giving dawah and people do not respond then that is their fate. Dont waste your time with them. Continue and go on with your life. You might come across people who really want to seek knowledge and gain from it.

As human beings we are not perfect, neither should we consider ourselves perfect just because that we are Muslims. But Alhamdulillah we are on the path of guidance and truth from our Merciful and Gracious Lord, Allah Subhanahu wa Taala.

If you have any question or doubt towards your brother or sister, then write to him in private. If you think he has made some mistake, send him a PM. Why cry out loud in the threads and make huge noise. I feel like these kind of people should grow up, and make themselves responsible, kind and honest Muslims. We need to organise our Ummah, we are in trouble, how many of us realise this fact? Yet we whine, we complain this and that...............the list endless.

We all know the hadeeth "When you speak something, speak good. If you cannot speak good, do not speak." How many of us adhere to it? Yet we call ourselves Muslims. I wonder how many of TTIetes will response after reading my reply. start bashing me up.

Please brothers and sisters, this is a humble request from me. Just do things from which you can benefit in the Hereafter, do for the sake of Allah Subhanahu wa Taala. At the end of the day, would you want yourself to be among those whom Allah Subhanahu wa Taala do not LOVE? Ofcourse not. So work from now, to gain HIS rewards and HIS Love. Only that will make you to do something good and spread Truth.

Good to see you back dear and glad to say,, im still alive and kicking,, only too busy nowadays trying hard to study ARABIC and learning to recite the Quran with tajweed and tarteel....and knowing this SENIOR muslimah its not an easy task but :tti_sister:May Allah swt help me to be patient and perservere in my endeavour, ..
The website i told you about for learning arabic is no longer availabe www.mediu.org/ebooks/emahaad/ so it gets tougher for me now,, cant hear the pronunciations as well as read the translation. I still come in almost daily to read but seldom participates in the discussion except for certain games or welcoming new members

Thats exactly how I feel Brother hussain.mahammed. Its kinda sad to see all these arguing going on. It puts the atmosphere at the site down. We should all be careful with our words cuz it might hurt the other's feelings.

As for the post of brother hussain.muhammed, i don't think anyone actually disagrees to what he has written down, but i guess everyone should try to practice it..which is much harder..But, bi idnihlah with pure intention, and the only desire to please our Rab..it should be achieved..

May Allah give us tawfik to understand the correct manners and guide us to the straight path..
