i am curious to know if there are any new jersey muslims that would like to be friends. honestly, i really haven't made any muslim friends. although i love the support that i get here from TTI i would also like to have muslim friends on a personal level. i am surrounded by unbelievers, i don't mean to call them that in a mean way, but they are unbelievers, and because of that it makes my associating with them very difficult. i want to drink a pepsi and they want to drink a heineken. i want to go out to a restaurant they want to go to a nightclub. also we as muslims need to be there for each other as a support group because when you are a single muslim, rather the only muslim at work or at home, your iman can be shaken and you are at a greater risk for going of track back to the ways of jahiliyya. so if you are a brother in islam, please check out my profile and maybe we can chat online, phone or hang out and have halal fun. i'm sorry for seeming so desperate to find and make friends, but it has definitely been hard for me.

New Jersey, eh? LoL brother, over here in Paterson, we Muslims rock the place!!! LoL. Alright, I'll tell you something: Here in the Jalalabad Masjid, Paterson, North Jersey, there is going to be a BIG 3-day Istimah, on June 27,28,29. It is in those dates, or around that time. I'll double check later. So anyway, Wait goes on is this: at our masjid, it holds a LARGE 3-day Istimah every 2 years. People from ALL nationalities come. Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, Indian Muslims, African Muslims, Jamaican Muslims, African American Muslims, Arab Muslims, White, Caucasian Muslims, hmm....let's see, and then we got more!

You can come brother. If Muslims come from palces like Michigan or Calfornia, and our guest speakers are from a lot of backgrounds. Like last time, the first guest speaker was a great African Sheikh, the second day, an old African American Sheikh, after Zuhr that day, a Pakistani Sheikh. LoL many young people also come, but some come and play and stuff like that, like football in the parking lot down the street, but all of us Islamci brothers "chill" LoL. And since I'm the youngest big talk around too, alot of the older brothers now me, so do the elders and other men from the masjid, and I know alot of brothers there too.

The only proble mis acftually Paterson itself, but really the Islamic things about it is great. And if you come brother, and if I see you, by Allah Ta Alla I'll come to you and you'll know me, just check a young 14 yr old guy, with a modest kind of long clothing, a bacl Kufi (if I might wear it, which sometimes gets lost when I really need it, LoL) and with a beaming tan face.

Gosh it's nice. Like I have teen Muslim brothers, and them, my big brothers, and my little brothers, we hang out alot when there's a gathering at our masjid. LoL I remember the Jamaat Pizza parties, LoL. With the 20 or so student boys (Age 14-17 mostly, some 20+) came from the New York Madrashah Darul Uloom, LoL me and my big brothers were treaing the palce up. LoL we were ahving fun (no breaking things or getting in trouble involved, just an expression).

So Assalamu Alykum brother, Inshallah I'll see you there.

But really the only way I actually hang out with brothers is when I go to jamaats. Yeah most of us are Bangladeshi Muslims, but we got other nationalities also, Alhamdulillah. Like we got Pakistanis, there are alot in Pascatoway, Afro-American brothers, from palces like Summerset, and at times Arab brothers.

Like there's one specific brother I picked up on 2 years ago. Young guy, Arab, White Muslim (No SERIOUSLY Dead Up), brown hair, had some sideburns down his cheekbones, a lot of beard on his chin, tall, strong, muscles and stuff, and then the last Jamaat when the big brothers went to Sommerset (I haven't went from December Winter Break till 2 weeks ago), the brother got married, Mashallah. May Allah Ta Alla give him a happy life, Ameen.
