BUMP.. brother or sister, kindly translate.

Also, the above look like Dhikr..

@ sister allah rakkah luv

Have you been told to recite the above following 10 times or 100 times ? or something similar ?

If that is the case, can some brother or sister kindly also validate it from the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH).

Albani said it's bid'ah

Allah knows ..
about the translation I told you it's kinds of Tasbeeh but seems as Bid'ah of Sufi and Shia's .

Funny you should say that because that's exactly how I felt. I wanted to translate but didn't because some of those statements were not Islamically correct. For instance,

"2.Subhaanal Lazee Fil-Ardi Mulkuho wa Qudratuhoo." That one means "Sanctified is He whose dominion and power are in the earth." God's dominion and power are everywhere, not just in the earth.

"4.Subhaanal Lazee Fil-Hawaaa-i Roohuhoo." That means "Sanctified is He whose spirit is in the air." God's spirit is not in anything. He is above and beyond all creation. When God says in the Qudsi Hadeeth that "the heavens and the earth are not wide enough for Him but the heart of the believer is", God is using a metaphor.

I would not advise the sister to say that particular zhikr and instead stay with the many zhikr alternatives available in the Quran and the Sunna.

well i asked my husban dabout this durood sherrif some time a go and he said it is bida and the prophet pbuh didn't do it.well i personally have never come across such things ..all i know is just do salawat, dzikir(there are many dzikir can be done for our sins to be forgiven and it is mention in hadith)

1.Recite Surah Al-ikhlas 20times rapidly and silently
Reciting it once is equivalent to one-third of the quran. If you read it 20 times it is equivalent to reading the Quran 7 times. If u read it 20 times it is equivalent to reading the Quran 7 times. If you read it 20 times in one minute each day,you will have read it 600 times in one month, and 7200 times in one year, which will be equal in reward to reading quran 2400 times.

2.Say La ilaaha ill-Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu'l mulk wa lahu'l-hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer
There is no god except Allah alone with no partner,to him be dominion and praise, and He is Able to do all things
Reward of saying this is like freeing 8 slavesfor the sake of Allah from among the sons of Ismaa'eel

3.Say Subahaan Allahi wa bi hamdihi X100 times

Glory and praise be to Allah
Whoever says that in one day will be forgiven for his sins even if they are like the foam of the sea.

4.say Subhaan Allahi wa bi hamdihi Subahaan Allah il-'Azeem
Glory and praise be to Allah, glory be to Allah the Almighty

These are two phrases which are light on the tongue but heavy in the balance and beloved to the Most Merciful,as was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim

5. The prophet pbuh said "When is ay Subhaan Allah,wa'l -hamdu Lillah,wa laa ilaah ill-Allah,wa Allahu akhbar"
Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god except Allah, and Allah is Most Great

These words are the most beloevd words to Allah, the best of words, and they weigh hevaily in the balance of good deeds,as was narrated in the saheeh ahaadeeth.

6.Say Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa Billah X40times
There is no strength and no power except with Allah
This is one the treasures of Paradise was was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim. They are a means of putting up with difficulties and of aiming to avhieve great things.

7.say Laa ilaaha ill-Allah X50 times

this is the greatest word, for it is the word of Tawheed, the good word, the word that stands firm.
If these are the last words of a person,he will enter paradise, and there are other reports which indicates how great thee words are.

8.say astaghfir-Allah 100times
I seek forgiveness of Allah

but since she ask for translation so though of giving some help..but now i know why Allah doesn't want it to happen.Allahu alam

I'll tell you why...because Allah (swt) says in the Qura'an...

"And verily, this is My Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious)." [Al-Anaa'am 06:153]

Well let's think about it...

Allah's Straight Path (or *deen*)..is *already* completed..and decreed for all humanity to *follow*..and this is confirmed in the following verse...

"This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion." [Al-Maae'eda 05:03]

And we follow Islam through the Shari'a containing The Qura'an and The Sunnah..so *taking away* or *adding* anything to it (i.e. Islam)...will cause a *distortion* in it..and that distortion would in turn create a *misguidance*..so the straight path or the deen..may *no longer* be Allah's Straight Path..or Allah's deen..it would be *the innovation* of mr. this or sister that...and Allah (swt) does not accept *anything* but *His Deen* and *His Path*...and this is apparent when He (swt) says in the Qura'an...

"The command (or the judgement) is for none but Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him; that is the (true) straight religion, but most men know not." [Yusuf 12:40]

And...

"O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day." [An-Nisaa'a 4:59]

And about *bida'ah* or innovations..Rasulullah (saaws) has said *specifically*...

"The most evil affairs are their innovations; and every innovation is error." [Sahih Muslim 004/1885]

And..

"Indeed, the most evil of matters (in the religion) are the newly invented ones, and every innovation (in the religion)is a bid`ah, and every bid`ah is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire." [Al-Albani]

So you see sister...innovations are a danger...even if they are "seemingly good"...they are a danger because they can *corrupt* the deen of Allah..and make it something that it is not..and if allow innovations to take place..then we'd become a people no different from the Christians and Jews before us..who took the deen of Allah and turned it into something full of corruption and blasphemies (wal 'eyatho billah)...

To keep our deen safe..and to protect our iman...we have to stick to what is within Islam and its Shari'a in the most trivial of matters :)

The Bid`a part is in the wording, as I explained in two examples, and in the specification of how many times to say them. Only God and His Messenger can specify how many times a supplication ought to be said.

God says in a Qudsi Hadeeth, "The best way for My worshiper to come close to Me is to do what I have mandated on him. And as My worshiper keeps doing the specified voluntary worship (Nawaafil) to get closer to Me, I will love him. When I love him I will be his ears with which he hears, his eyes with which he sees, his hands with which he reaches and his legs with which he walks. When he asks Me for something, I will certainly give it to him and when he seeks My help, I will certainly help him."

So, the best acts of worship are the Fardh then the Sunna. Nothing else comes close. ;)
