If you could live anywhere...

Are you people tired of me making topics yet? It's my off day from work, alhamdulilah, and I wish to spend my time here

Lets do a light topic, if you could live anywhere...(Not the country you're in right now!)...what country would you live in? :hearts:

I live in America, and have spent a lot of time in Britain...If I were to move, It would probably be Pakistan! I'm a huge fan of Pakistan, and I have dreams of moving there and working with the Edhi Foundation in terms of homeless children :SMILY252: Even though the country is terrorized and has a loadshedding problem, I love the country & find Pakistanis humble & giving :hearts:

Your turn!

Assalaam walaikum,

Tonight I will shoot for the moon...because they say if you fall you will play among the stars...

I love me some Pakis...all my memories of visiting Pakistan are beautiful. It was sad that everyone there thought I was an alien. I could never get a taxi.

I lived in England when I was a child. When I visited as an adult it was too much.

In all honesty..I live in almost heaven..so I think I'll stay a while in wild and wonderful west virginia.

I think I'd like to try living in South Korea and England. There's lots of places I'd like to travel but I'm not sure if I'd like to live permanently outside of the US.

At this point I'd just be happy to live somewhere with grass and trees :) And lots of rain! (Yay, nevada.. Thanks for being a big pile of dirt).

Lots of places I'd like to visit, not sure about living there. I've always wanted to go to Ireland and Egypt. Recently, after some books I'd like to visit Italy. And I almost forgot, since I was a child I've wanted to visit Greece, because my great grandfather was from there. I'd like to go back to Germany too.. The spot I went through was beautiful. So... Yeah I'd just like to visit everywhere :)

Sounds good to me! Nevada is so brown you forget what green looks like. It's grown on me a bit, but I miss rain a lot :) We've gotten a bit this year, and hopefully that'll mean less wildfires.

jannah would be the ideal place - where the food is plentiful and women are tender or was it the other way around.

on the earth if have to settle, it would be in makkah, otherwise id travel through out the world, especially south america, those guys seem so relaxed about everything.

I will live in Madinah or Mecca. I would like living in saudi arabia. The best thing I consider is the governence based on tawheed, MashaAllaah. those places are not the first or last choice, rest may be to any other muslim country.

wow so many want to live in pakistan???
all i can say is that grass is always greener on the other side.
I mean it's a beautiful landscape (mountains, valleys, rivers, deserts, seas, every topography is present in here) and wonderful people (except moahjirs - im from a mohajir family). You have freedom to do anything (piss on the roadside, loot a bank, kill innocent people - nobody will catch you, if they do pay some money and youll be free), it's just complete and utter lawlessness. It's a wild wild world here and unfortunately, in the wild the powerful rule while the weak suffer.

I am aware of these problems, and it's a very sad thing...But these problems can be fixed with the right people in positions insha Allah.

I say I'd like to move to Pakistan, but I have to at least visit some times first. I do know I love the people, i love the food, and i love the landscape. American government bothers me at times, but I do feel safe here.

May Allah (swt) bring peace & harmony to Pakistan and its people, Ameen. :hearts:
