Holy Hair of Mohammad?

Brothers and Sisters,
Salaam...

I saw this and was extremely doubtful. Not in the belief of the people but in their action. I am no scholar but from what little I have been able to learn so far, I have serious doubts that Mohammad would approve of what these Brothers are doing. To me, an outsider, their acts are those of people who are deifying Mohammad. Please watch this and let me know your thoughts and if I am wrong in my assumptions, please let me know.

Shukran..

Hi there Jen,

These kind of things are usually fake, as it has no authentic basis. Its probably some random guy's hair.

"Muslims" in authority back home lie a lot in the name of Islaam, so as to fool the people and rob money from the innocent people.

I just couldn't believe that they were taking rose petels and brushing them against the "hair" to somehow make the water and petels "sacred"...what were they going to do with it then? "bless" the people or things? Something I seriously don't believe Mohammad would like!

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah("Peace be unto you and so may the mercy of Allah)

Dear Sister,
firstly.regarding the question,i doubt whether it is real. Therefore i would prefer to stay from it.

secondly, from your paragraph i can see that you respect our final messenger mohammed((s.a.w.s.), i would be happy if you would name mohammed((s.a.w.s.) adding s.a.w.s. which is short form of (Salallahu ‘alayhi wa salam, meaning: May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

then it's your choice. Because Allah(s.w.t.) says:
Surab 2: verse 256

There is no compulsion in religion, for the right way is clearly from the wrong way. Whoever therefore rejects the forces of evil and believes in God, he has taken hold of a support most unfailing, which shall never give way, for God is All Hearing and Knowing.

Thank you.

Brother,
You greet me too formally and too well. I am not a Muslim so it is not necessary for you to greet me any greater than Wa'Salaam Alaikum but only if I initiate the greeting of Salaam...Just so you know. :) I apprieciate the thought though, thank you.

I understand your reasons and I will take it under advisement. As you are new here, I can tell you that eventually, you will get used to my presence. I am not here learning how to revert, but simply for the joy of learning.

Be well....

Dear Sister,
Thank you for your answer.
First of all. If I am really considering you as my sister then I feel you deserve not only peace and mercy from Almighty Allah(God) but also blessings.(from my point of view)
Secondly. If my profile is showing few posts, it does not mean i am new here. I just used to read the threads. finally one day I made up my mind to open a profile.
I am aware that “you are here not for learning to revert”(because probably you must have already known how to revert after staying here for long period).
Yes it is completely exceptional joy in learning about Islam and implementing in our daily life.
As the proverb goes ”knowledge demands action”, I hope you do justice to the sentence.
If I said anything wrong by mistake, then I am sorry.
