Sister the problem is that Pakistan was made in the name of Islam but till date Islam has not been implemented in it but contrary to it those who speak to Implement Islam they are tortured jailed and dealt very harshly....This all is happening under the influence of America and even the Mujahideen who are fighting for the freedom of our Kashmir even they are not spared....But still Pakistan is a mercy for the whole muslim ummah and the only muslim country with nuclear weapons...We pray to Allah to make Pakistan a source for freedom of our Palestine Afghanistan Kashmir and may Allah make it a Superpower to rule the world according to the Islamic Shariah....

Just want to point out this verse from Quran to this video.
125. Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islâm) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'ân) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. [16:125]
Allah (swt) told our beloved Prophet (PBUH) and through him (PBUH) we come to know that the way of inviting people to ALlah (swt) is thru wisdom and fair preaching... i have nothing against Abdur Raheem Green one of my favorite scholars, but if we start pointing fingers then no one will come to islam infact they will all go away from it, im sure alot of Pakistani people would agree that he is right, majority of the people are doing wrong but alot of them dont even know any better, this is what they have been taught and instead of showing them proof and evidence from Quran/Sunnah why its shirk, most people are just looked down upon and make a mockery off. And thats the biggest problem with the video and this thread, "Abdur Raheem Green lays the smack down on Pakistan LOL!", you just made a mockery of the people, without informing them much.
Would have been alot more beneficial if people were spoken to in a polite way and the seerah of our Beloved Prophet (PBUH) was followed, who took a nation of Arabs of Idol lovers and changed the whole of arabian peninsula into muslims.
and like the ayah says in the end
"....Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. [16:125]"

Im not making fun of Pakistan. The title of the video had "lol" in it. And of course not every one in Pakistan is like this. In B`Desh you have similar thing going on ...and to some extent even worse.
Its a country ruled by women.
With that being said, you can diss the hell out of which ever country you want. Im not a nationalist, just the son of Adam.

I haven't watched the video (seen it before). Its a good answer to a fairly reasonable question, just because the answer may be obvious to some, its obviously not sunk in to the heads of the majority because change is so minimal.
Although I don't know what it is about Abdul-Raheem Green and his anti-Pakistan rhetoric, lol. Someone was telling me after a lecture once, he received a question on a slip of paper asking 'Can you tell us where your love for Pakistan comes from?' note the sarcasm there, because he had obviously aimed a few diatribes toward Pakistan in that lecture too! Then he mentioned his wife is actually Pakistani (I think deep down, he genuinely cares for the country).
And he has his way of speaking, he almost started a war at my University back when I was in the first year; someone mentioned celebrating Milaad-un-Nabi in the Q&A, the woman who asked started arguing back when he said it was bid'ah, that was a bad move. I was sitting at the back of the lecture hall ..cringing. Note: I don't have a problem with the way he makes his points.
Realistically though, there isn't much that is funny in the video at all.

Salaam sweet sister, no one here is against Pakistan at all.
I surely am not! The first person to truely help me come to Islam is from Pakistan.
And you are correct, not everyone in Pakistan is like that.
Which is why I think his attitude towards Pakistan as a whole was terrible.
He likes to generalize and I feel demean a lot of people for no reason, which is why I dont like him. He also has this Dawah in the Park series which is just awful.
Duh I've grown up with Paki friends we do still joke about things that happen in Pakistan and also in my own country.(Shirkistaan, Wahhabee, Terrorist are just common between us so we're cool about it).
I have not named any people to say I'm pointing fingers. So just take a chill pill
