Islam and Homosexuality if a Homosexual repents and or changes do they still get death under the Sharia also one if a person was an Atheist as a minor and did a Homosexual act and became a Muslim later is this sin forgeten also Im not a Homosexual and never have been but Im just wondering how Islam feels about ex Homosexuals who change and repent ?

there is no bigger sin than shirk. so when someone becomes Muslim, immediately Allah removes his all sins and even He turns them into good deeds, subhan Allah. and he becomes a new born baby.
and for repenting, Allah does the same, Allah forgives him.

brother we have to understand the context of punishment in the world.
the punishment is to stop the mischief in the lands/world.

and repentance of the guilty person is the deal with Allah, if someone repents, before death, Allah will forgive him and will not hold him account for the sin as he has received punishment and also he has repented.

Not only does repentance lead to potential forgiveness, but when a person reverts to Islam, all their past sins are considered NULL and VOID.

Even if they include homosexuality and atheism.

That's right the biggest sin in Islam is shirk - that is associating Allah with something else. And if you have debts you must settle before you die or your next kin must settle for you. Although you repent you still have to settle your debts. When you revert to Islam, all sins forgiven except debts until they are fully settled.

Islam doesn't allow homosexuality and strictly forbids it. Allah can forgive any sin but Shirk. once some one makes repentance with good intentions. his/her all sins are wiped out and he/she is like a new born baby.other think I dont endorse homosexuality but i have no problem with them . i am tolerant towards them. this is their life. they can do whatever they want. why should i take a sword and start cutting their heads. Allah is there and HE will decide for them. Live and let live.

I used to very tolerant. However, living here in the US is difficult. I do not tolerate same-sex marriage. I have great difficulty with gays and lesbians forcing their agenda on heterosexuals. The greed of the homosexual lobbies is unbelievable, politically.

In California there will be mandatory gay history taught in the schools. I thought Sodom and Gomorrah was all the history we needed as believers.

It is something Allah hates.

its hard to be tolerant,,,when gays and lesbians are taking more and more rights..while muslims face harder laws.. iread some states in USA contemplating banning any public demonstration of islamic law...even like praying..while gays have rights even to marry...yet a muslim man cant legally have more than one wife

but at the same time,,,your examlpe of london if your living in a foreign non muslim country,,you cant expect them to implement shariah law,,, especially in london where from what ihave witnessed,,,,muslims have freedom to practise and live,,,,,,,,,,

In London, a group of Muslims have made it very difficult for the police. If the police were smart they would understand that the Sharia zones would be virtually crime free. The posters ban prostitution, crime, *!*!*!*!ography, etc.

I will say this. It is good to live in the US. Muslims do not encounter hate here as much as in Europe. Americans have a curiosity about Muslims. And I am constantly stopped with people giving me the salutation of Salaam. Then they ask if I am Muslims.

My personal objection to homosexuality is simply this: homosexuals function on the pleasure principle. The need for sexual satisfaction is foremost. That is what we are told in the Quran, is it not.
