Darussalam is from Saudi arabia...
WOWOWOWOW.
Slow down for a second. I don't want to quote every line from your post, but do you realize what you have just done? You have just claimed that all of those who work at DARRUSALAAM and everyone who supports them as "kaafir".
Do you know what the Messenger of Allaah (SAAWS) said?
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "If a man says to his brother, O Kafir (disbeliever)!' Then surely one of them is such (i.e., a Kafir). " - bukhari 73:125
I won't accuse you of anything, but this is how it begins with those who want to spread their opinion, by calling so and so kafir.
Second, you have taken the hadith of the Prophet SAAWS and applied it to a group of people. Have you looked at what the scholars said about this hadith, and who it refers to? Show me where you got your interpretation of this hadith.
Third,
I have no idea what "footnotes" you are talking about. I read the document, I didn't find any "footnotes" that mention "kursiy".
Fourth,
Since when did "salafi" become a deviant sect!???!!! SubhanaAllaah how shaytaan misguides.
Fifth,
The full Tafsir of ibn Kathir is not actually for everyone to read. First point: he was a human being. Second point: He collected all of his evidence using a combination of Quraan, Sunnaah, and "israeliate" meaning things from the books of the people of Israel (torah, bible).
If DARRUSALAM was to translate tafsir ibn kathir and ONLY include things from the Quraan and Sunnaah, I do not see why it should matter to you. If you are a scholar and wished to study all of the evidence and the sources then you can find the original in arabic and read it yourself. I do not even see a benefit in mentioning things which cannot be verified as authentic (ie. things not from the Quran and the authentic sunnaah).
The biggest harm that arises from that is people start quoting the interpretation from ibn Kathir without actually realizing the source.
Sixth,
Brother I am right here. And I am waiting for the evidence that you have against DARRUSALAAM.
I hope that you are not taking the words of people and using that as your opinion on the matter. It's easy for everyone to be a blind follower, but this is not what Islam teaches. Islam teaches us to question the authenticity of every word said regarding this religion, and I question your opinion and your judgment, just like how you should question the opinions of those you have gotten your information from. A baseless opinion has no place in this religion, and it leads to misguidance.
And Allaah knows best.
