1) Breaking fast with your family or
2) Breaking in the masjid with others and your spouse/family at home?

well before marriage,when i was alone.i break fast in the mosque
but now after marriage i prefer to break fast with my husband and in laws.

Wa alaikome salam

Well I am not married and all of my family are non-Muslim so I break all of my fasts alone (this week I have been at work when I needed to break the fast). My thought for EID is to go to Masjid to break the fast inshallah because last year I was there on EID when they broke the fast and I wasnt Muslim at that time. The women there were so kind to me and I was so scared. I didnt know what to say or how to act. They let me eat but I didnt feel right because I hadnt been fasting. They let me sit with them and talked to me about hijab and other things relating to Islam. Then they let me go upstairs to observe the prayer. The women prayed behind a partition so I wasnt able to see them but I sat in the back of the room and watched the men pray. The prayer had already started when I sat to watch and it is so funny to me thinking back on it now because really watching them last year I had NO idea what they were doing but today I am doing it myself!!!! Amazing how Allah works isnt it????

its always feel so much better open at home with my family, sometimes at work i have to open it alone and its not fun at all, without my mom tasty food i dont think iftar is that much fun

Assalam, honestly it depends on your situation I believe, I enjoy to break it by myself in the comfort of my home, but I have yet to break it at the mosques , perchance I will do it InshAllah on Jumah .
