As salamo alaikome
I hope all my brothers and sisters at TTI are in good health and strong Iman inshallah!
A question came to my mind as I was reading Quran the other night and I am curious to see if anyone can answer it or not.
In Quran Allah instructs us as Muslims not to kill our children saying that he will provide for them and for us. Ok it made me wonder then about the women who have abortions prior to becoming Muslims. In other words before taking their shahadas they had an abortion. I heard that ALL sins are wiped completely clean once you take your shahada and you are like a newborn baby or a clean sheet of paper with not a mark on you!
Does Allah forgive murder and abortion along with all other sins once that person takes their shahada? What about in my case for example because before I took my shahada I was a Christian and although I didnt attend church regularly I really did believe with all of my heart that Jesus (Isa) was the son of God which is shirk right? I heard that Allah will forgive all sins EXCEPT for shirk so what about when I took my shahada? Did my sin of shirk get wiped out as well as all of my other sins?
Can anyone find out the answers to these questions for me please? Im really interested to know!
