Assalaamu alaykum,

Lot of news here, subhanAllaah. Those have been upsetting. In those 2-3 days as the news quote as 7 to 8 people have lost their lives. The scenes and situations like power-cuts, damaged properties, damaged offices etc are not as welcoming. They are for sure, not the loss to the one who is over the reign or to his party, but a national loss which is going to be divided among every Egyptian. That Certainly not an outcome for which the people headed for and so not the way of calling the rights for or making demands. Either in these situations the rulers and the public are forced upon to take up some un-wanted actions as on facing each other under the tensed situations. The media transmitters can have many vids which later might make the situation seem to be more bubbled. Further the question is whether hosni Mubarak will remain or not at work ? But there is no guarantee that the one who will replace him is going to be better than him or the situation of Egypt to be better than as people expect it to be after him. those all outcomes are only known to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala and may He do better for them. But for sure such demo, rallies and protests do not serve as they are thought of as. The scholars of Islaam have condemned such actions in the light of qur’aan and sunnah. And have shown other peaceful ways to resolve such conflicts and problems. As obviously such acts do not resolve the matters but let them worsen a more. The discussion arises after all such are as like-Will people get employment, or reduction in poverty and other problems after there are human and financial losses and having been through the situation of curfew within the whole country ?..or is It is likely that the people will have to compensate in either way.

Concluding up here - My duas are for the brothers and sisters from Egypt and May Allaah keep them in a good state of health and wealth.

Assalaam walaikum,

I watched a news analyst on RT news. He stated that the uprising in Egypt is of particular interest in the world as it will expose the US weakness in world affairs.
The Western governments are quite confident that Mubark will remain in power. He is the " leader who has done the most to promote peace".

We need this thread. We need to be informed.

This has little to do with Islam. This has little to do with Islam. We have a corrupt politician who has robbed his people to lay in bed with the enemy. His soldiers are happy. They have a job.

Where are the voices of reason.

The analysts are content because they feel there is no real body politic to assume leadership. They are anticipating a new military dictator to replace Mubark. Same old same old.

:salam2:The problem is that the barrel of oil is holier to many Muslims that Muslim lives. We have erected our new Idols. You do not understand that what they are learning comes from a total different context and is backed by a certain subjective ideology! You can put any group of hadeeths together to justify what you are doing even to allow Kafir armies in Muslim lands...

See you all in the hereafter in case they bane me after saying this.Am not asking these brothers to ignore the guidelines they might receive out of takwa and because they alhamdulillah are pious enough to really fear of mistaking, this is mashallah!and everyone of us should take heed of the example they give.Am just asking them to hate it in their hearts. as it is a Sunnah aswell and ponder deeply about the logic within themselves.

Mubarak is not the independent muslim Ruler of sovreign Egypt,he is the extended hand of the colonizing foreign Kuffar, who come in suits nowadays and who happend to be the real rulers. No Muslim has objectively ruled Egypt for a long time.

It is not fair to always put the blame on the victim for the crimes of the perpetrator.A new born child who 's totally innocent will inherit a whole socio political and educational system based on zulm and humiliation to him give absolutely no perspective for it's futur,he will have his legs cut short from the beginning. We who are in our twenties found Mubarak and people like him already in power when we came to the world .It can not be a result of us not applying Islam unto our lives, inherited sin is a Christian ideology not a Salafi one.

With all due respect this doesn't make sense to any God fearing and rational thinker. Our Duaas go to the brothers and siters in Egypt so sad the world might be.May Allah swt have mercy on us.

Wallahu Alaam Wa Alaa Wa Ahkam.

:salam2:Army arrested thugs from the police personnel belonging to the government looting and vandalizing! Said a journalist on Aljazeera who is in the heart of the events. It was the last attempt by the government to use shameless methods to try and stop the revolution process by diverting the attentions and justify authoritarian actions and indiscriminate killing, she said. The good old divide and conquer methods. However Egyptian youth mashallah are intelligent enough and understand very well the trick ,thus they are fighting these looters and protecting the belongings of people as they realize they are nothing but police agents in civilian clothing. This once again shows the ruthlessness of this regime, heartless till the end.

Assalamu allaicum wa raahmtullah wa baraaktuhu

I am interested to see which will be the outcome of these last events in Egypt, and with the help of Allah it will be in the favor of the people of Egypt InshAllah, but it is hard to belive that Mr. Hosni Mubarak is able to bring any important decission on his own, when actually he is not the "real ruler of the country" as he is also "being ruled by someone from above", and that "someone" who has supreme power is actulay the one who "makes rules" which Mr. Hosni Mubarak needs to obey.

I am afraid that again people will be those who will remain oppresed, and just like someone has mentioned before, who guarantees us that the one who will replace him is going to be better than him, as it is not only about Mr. Hosni Mubarak what is in question, but the accent is on the "Politics of Egypt" which should be changed, and for that takes a loot of time, as these things can not be done "over night", or atleast should not be done "over night" if they do not want to be just one copy more of the orginal.

Today is very hard to have sovereign national policy, takeing in consideration that there is globalisation of policy which for sure presents high danger for every national country.

After all this finishs, the question which will remain is "Who will respond for the lifes of all those innocent people and for all the damage that has been made?". We know that every society has obligation to protect its citizens, so when it fails to do it or does it in a bad way, it has obligation to compensate all that damage . We know that for this damage responds a community which in the most cases is "the country itselfe", but will that be the case here and will the people of Egypt realize their basic rights??? In my personal opinion they have to look for other means except demonstrations, esspecialy "demonstrations in this light" to realize them. And Allah knows the best.

It is a fact that "injust rulers" always make intrigues, but Allah sais in Quran ..you continue with making intrigues, and We will also make them.."

Muslims will not be in the complete protection of Allah untill in their favor Lord of Strength and Pride does not make intrigues against their enemys, as He has done it before for the benefit of His Prophets and Messengers (may Allahs blessings be upon them).

Allah sais in Quran, Surah As-Saaffat, ayah 171-172

"That they verily would be helped", "And that Our host, they verily would be the victors."

May Allah guide us all and keep us under His Protection and Mercy, may we give more efforts and may we do more good deeds, obeying His orders to gain His Pleasure on This and Other world. Ameen summa ameen

And Allah knows the best

Assalaam walaikum,

It is frightening that 60 million people have been duped for thirty years.

I see the changes in America. We live in a fascist state. And yes, when we are complacent and do not assume our God-given responsibility we leave the burden to our children.

We have to make dua, what else can we do. We put our faith in Allah.

Change by definition is growth. For too long the government of Egypt has been stagnant. It is time for the youth to take over.

A Muslim can not be complacent nor can a Muslim be idle. There are times when it is prescribed for us to take action. It is that simple.

Are they going to be squelched. We do not know. We can not speculate. We have to pray.

And Brother Jameel...you are correct. You may be blunt but you are honest.

:salam2:Jazakillah khairan ukhti ,Appa is right am blunt and too passionate about things.I might have been unjust to you yesterday as I did not differentiate and favor the accuracy of some statements you made with other one that were wrong or deficient according to me,I know you are a very intelligent and sensitive sister as I love reading your poems, please forgive If I hurt you and may Allah swt forgive us all,It is really not personal.

You are right about about us living in a globalized world with integrating economies but Germany, France,Spain ..etc share the same economical order as repugnant and complex as it is regarding it's roots and implications on every nation. But these nations do not treat their citizens the way ours do you will have to admit that.In they unite and put all their differences aside when it comes to fight Islam and Muslim.

The communist the liberals, the socialist, the feminists the secular and the religious all of them unite. And we!just look at the Arab countries we speak the same language ,we have the same religion, same culture ,same foods and traditions, same social consciousness we get busy fighting each other over sectarian or nationalistic issues Meanwhile we keep selling Oil accepting Dollars and contributing to the killing and loss of property of 100 times more Muslims than those who are revolting right now.

This is why am furious when I see sectarian flames. We know that sufis are wrong and Shias have deviant beliefs..etc Why don't we live let live do Dawah to them and Allah swt decide,Allah swt wanted this diversity we have to compete with them in doing good and fighting for justice. While we are being kept busy arguing our differences they carry on their colonization ideologies and fathering attitudes and get away with all our riches and god given resources and those of our fathers and children.

I was sitting with an Egyptian brother yesterday following the events in Egypt then suddenly I see Hilary Clinton giving a press conference! We were just like clueless!I switched Asap we did not even wanna listen to what she had to say because She was pretending to be in a position to talk to the Egyptian" People" We did't know they had given her that right to talk for them and give them guidelines, subhanallah.

Imagine in about a year or so there were to be a social revolution in Australia or America and you'de hear this kind of Arrogant and self ascribing attitude coming from the president of China or Senegal!Am tired of this Racist colonial attitudes that have been going on for centuries,it has to stop one and for all. There is a saying from where I come from which says"Pull up your sleeves and Allah swt will help you".

Be well in the care of Allah swt dear sister

Braverman: Mubarak's rule is about to end [ 29/01/2011 - 02:46 PM ]

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Former Israeli minister Avishay Braverman said Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak is at the end of his rule and his dream to bequeath the presidency to his elder son Gamal has dissipated.

"All we wish in Israel is to see the situation stable in the region after Mubarak leaves and is succeeded by a new president," Maariv quoted Braverman as saying on Saturday.

In this regard, director general of the Israeli foreign ministry Yossi Gal held an urgent meeting yesterday to discuss the unfolding developments in Egypt and the underlying repercussions following the removal of Mubarak.

The Israeli forign ministry also ordered Israelis to refrain from going to Egypt and warned its nationals who are still in Egypt to act with caution and to stay away from conflict areas.

Assalaam walaikum,

I saw a news item. I do not have the details. It seems that a "gang" of young Egyptians were arrested in Alexandria, Virginia (USA) today. The news was fuzzy..very few details..just a video of a group of young men in handcuffs and lots of pairs of shoes. This was aired with the Egyptian riot news bits. I do not understand the connection.
