I dont really see how the crescent is used as a direction maybe I am missing something here, but I am of the opinion that it MIGHT actually mislead people into thinking that "It represents Islam"....we already know that it has done that. I used to think that way till I read that thread alhamdulillaah.

As someone who knew NOTHING about Islam till I wanted to learn more, I didn't know untill now that the Cresent had no association to Islam, except what I gave it. While it may not be accurate, it would not be the first time a culture/religion has taken something and made it their own. The Native American have done that for centuries. Once someone comes to the table, then the teaching can begin....but first they have to come....I like the TTI letters being transformed into a Mosque.....tho I'm not sure about the colors.
