Salaam everyone,

I would like to ask if anyone willing could make dua for me. I am dealing with something as a new muslim relating to my career. I am in a health care profession and am having to refuse male clients. It has effected my income... I'm hoping that things will get better after the holidays... but right now I feel it effecting my thought process towards my co-workers and other situations which I know is wrong. It is not that I EVER regret making the decision not to work on men anymore, it's just that I'm dealing with it. I feel that it's also a reminder that we need to make dua for everyone suffering from the economy, as I know there are people in worse situations than myself. I mean... I only have myself to think of and one of the women I work with is supporting three kids all by herself!!!

So thank you to anyone atleast reading this.

may Allah answer your needs.

Something I consider a challenge is whether I am unable to accomplish my goals with following what Allah (swt) would like his servent to do. Muslimeen will be tested throught life. There are going to be events when u think they are good when they probably would be bad. there are also events that appear to us as bad when they really result in something really good. We are to anticipate certain events or outlooks as a test. Either we will get the reward in this life or the hereafter.

May Allah increase our deen, and resolve our problems.

One of the first thing I was taught during my early days as a muslim was to say "Bismillah" whenever and whatever I'm going to do. InsyAllah, I will dua for you sister. Don't worry too much.

MAY ALLAH (AZA WAJALLAH) REWARD YOU FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING. FOR SISTER YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT PATH .

(16) Far removed from it will be the righteous (17) Who giveth his wealth that he may grow (in goodness). (18) And none hath with him any favour for reward, (19) Except as seeking (to fulfil) the purpose of his Lord Most High. (20) He verily will be content. (21)

SubhanAllah (How Glorious are you my Lord O Allah)
Sister just a few months ago you were a UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST. Now MashaAllah you are a Muslim and not just an ordinary Muslim but a much better and pious Muslimah.
SubhanAllah (Glory to you O Allah) what a change in a few months time.

Sister this world is just a 50-60 years of efforts in a person's life, the real life is in the next world. So what you are doing is a great, and InshaAllah you will get great reward for it too.
Just be careful that you put enough burdon on you which you could sustain. It is better to take one step at a time. And always remember that Allah (SWT) is most forgiving and extremely merciful.

I am praying for you sister and for my all my other brother and sisters in Islam, that Allah (SWT) make it easy on all of us and keep us on the right path to Jannah. Ameen!
