Akhi , can allergy be cured...or at least reduced to some extent..??

:wasalam:

It depends on the type of allergy. If your symptoms (Sister Aisha) are alleviated simply by praying on your own personal rug or clean cloth, then use it.

The ''allergy'' could be due to dust from the carpet (most likely cause), or some fungi in the carpets that your are sensitive to. You might want to seek medical advice if it`s really bothering you.

Also when praying at home, when going down for rukoo i raise my hands and when rising from rukoo i raise my hands. Also when rising from the second sujood and standing i raise my hands only. Is This Okay?

This is because i have not seen anyone do this at the Mosque and I am afraid to do it because people may think its wrong or something.

Brother which masjid do you attend?? I recommend you go to islambradford, they perform prayers there the correct way and here you wont feel left out.
If you dont know where it is let me know and il give ya directions. Its a good place subhanallah and they do khutbahs and jamaat on fridays..

Hope this link helps you with your prayers insha-allah...step to step guide..

Asalamu Alykum,

Well its called central mosque from what i know. Its on Infirmary Lane (i think), although its on lumb lane (sort of). I have heard of islambradford, but dont know where the mosque is so directions would be appreciated. Jazakallah for the link.

Maybe i should have gone to Salafi Bookstore first, because recently i bought my books from simplyislam. I think i may have spent a little too much when i could have saved and bought from Salafi Bookstore. I think i will go in there, just to see what they have.

Asalamu Alykum,

I looked on the prayer timetable i have and according to the poster it is BD8, and the street is 66/67 Southfield Square.

I dont have a clue where sapna textiles, although tomorrow Inshallah when i go the prayer room, they had some leaflets for an event that happend on 29th April (i think), Inshallah they are still there as it had Islam Bradford on it.

I think the mosque maybe far from me, because when i used Yorkshire Journey Planner, the total duration for the journey was around 50 minutes. (But thats from BD10)

After a little of searching is Preston Street, close to Handel street, because according to Yorkshire Journey Planner, its around 13 minutes from BD12RN. Which means i would easily be able to make it Inshallah. Inshallah its the right one.

About the bookstore, i will probably pop in to Salafi, although i have a feeling SimplyIslam will be cheaper. My brother said to go there first but i said no because it was just easier to buy from SimplyIslam, i think this going to come back and haunt me.

Asalamu Alykum,

Well neither do i lol, i was checking Yorkshire Journey Planner. Anyway Inshallah next Friday, i will get out of college early. I have heard of Bombay Stores but it has been awhile since i have been around that area, but i should be able to find it again. Sapna textiles seems to be coming back to me but i just cant pin point it, will check it out Inshallah on friday.

Well i bought a couple of books from SimplyIslam, Life of the Prophet (S.A.W), that was around £10.80 by Safiurehman Al-Mubarakpur. Alhamdulilah its really good, havent finished it yet. Should get some few more books i ordered tomorrow Inshallah.

On a side note, the guide you posted was good, although i didnt know after the recitation of tashahhud you had to recite:

Allaahumma innee a'oodhu bika min 'adhaabi jahannam, wa min adhaabil-qabr, wa min fitnatil-mahyaa wal-mamaat, wa min sharri fitnatil-maseehid-Dajjaal

I need to memorize the above, although understand it at the same time too. Does this mean that the times i did not recite the above Dua my prayer was rejected or wrong. :(

Alhamdulilah

No brother i dint know this either... its not ur folt its how were we taught.
But you know now alhamdulillah so you can correct. It took me a while to learn, just take it bit at a time. While i was learning this recite i used to still pray rabijalnee until i knew it fully. When you keep reciting it you'll find it easy :inshallah:

may Allah make it easy for you brother.....ameen

Asalamu Alykum,

Well thats it, im just going to Salafi from now on.

Inshallah it should not take that long, although the same thing will probably like when trying to memorize Surahs from the Quran and reciting them in my Salah, sometimes my mind just goes blank and i cant remember what the next verse was, so i would recite a short Surah i knew. I was going to ask whether that would invalidate Salah. So inshallah will try and memorize it ASAP, i can see me forgetting it a couple of times. But Inshallah will have it memorized. One thing that is weird is that when i memorized Tashahhud and Salaatul Ibraaheemiyyah i picked it up quick. Alhamdulilah.

I seem to be remebering a question, for example in a 2 rakat prayer could i recite the whole of Surah Al-Haaqqa in the first rakat. Inshallah im making steady progress.

Jazakallah Khair sister for the help.

Alhamdulilah
