Ramadan...need info about it as soon as possible plz!

From what everyone is sayin month of Ramadan is starting rite? Umm all i know u fast in it from sunrise till dawn. So should i fast too rite???
And for how much long is this month? like normel 30 or 31 days?? and what happens when this month ends? My muslim friends celebrates something....what is that?? Tell me soooooooon!! Cuz i also wanna fast!! And also tell me at what date is Ramadan starting!

MashaALlah happy to see u willng to fast, may Allah give us the chance to fast the whole month of Ramadan inshaALlah..

Well, Ramadan starts either on friday our saturday, it depend on the moon , ppl in saudi arab will inform us about it when they see the moon inshaALlah..
U have to fast 30 days and after it we celebrete Eiid, thats a little party for the muslims after fasting the whole month of Ramadan. Its a nice day where we all pray together and celebrete the rest of the day with our familiy and friends, its a day where we have fun after complete the holy month of mercy.. I hope i answer ur question inshaALlah..

well first of all they will see the moon to determine the ramadhan...this year it is somewhere on friday or saturday.it is this week....it is for 30 days usually and again for the ending they will check the shape of the moon again....after 30 days ,on the 31st day u should not fast n we celebrate and it's Eid Adha....on this day..in the morning everyone should go to the mosque to pray Eid prayer....and this is the only time where the women can go to the mosque actually.(the prophet said it is better for women to pray at home yet it is permissible to pray in the mosque during Eid and it is sunnah)

after prayer u will go to ur relatives house and just celebrate it as normal..

just another thing i forgot to mention...during these 30 days of ramadhan...after the ishaa prayer,we pray tarawih which is 18 rakaat or more depend on the mosque..u can do it at home alone or together in the mosque...usually they finish the whole quran tarawih withing 30 days...for reverts it might be difficult coz u hvnt memeorised the quran and s on...if it is possible,u can go to the mosque and do tarawih there or get some muslim sisters together and follow them in the prayer.
