I have some things to say about the rude post with rude language posted by Sakeena (which has since been closed).

I do not think this was a very good post, Sakeena, by posting such a thing, you lower yourself to the level of the people you are criticizing. What good does that do? I think it would be far better for you to try to explain to them why they are mistaken. However, the administration also needs to do it's part, I agree they are too quick to ban things which they merely disagree with, but which may contain some truth in them.

You should consider, Sakeena, WHY you are able to understand that racism is a bad thing. Is it because you were born a perfect person? Or is the truth that you were lucky enough to be born in a part of the world, where the people have learned to understand that racism is bad. If you had been born somewhere else, where most of the people are racist, you would likely be racist as well. Only the very best of people are able to not be racist, when everyone around them is.

I will tell you a story from a book I own, it is fiction, but contains an important truth. There was a man in the book, he was born on another planet where the people were very civilized and religious. Later on in the book he was talking with some people from Earth (our planet) and told them that it was entirely possible that they would go to heaven after they died and he would not. The people from Earth did not understand this, because this man seemed very holy and religious to them, but he explained, that because of the advantages he had been given during his life, of being born and taught on such an advanced planet, far more was demanded of him by God, ethically speaking, than was demanded of the people from Earth.

At first I pray Allah (SWT) to guide you to absolute truth of Islam. Your yesterdays post about freedom to burn (may Allah forgive and forbid) Quran wasn't endurable. But still you are on TTI,what does this signal?. Analyse yourself.

I remember you. Welcome back and sorry for what you endured. Honestly, you should not post fiction story here as it may contain shirk info. You should use the opportunity being in TTI to debate or have good dialogue with the folks here, like you use to have with me sometime ago. I've not read that post that offended you, however on behalf of everyone pls accept my apology.

Hard Rock: I don't know what 'shirk info' means. I think that the story I mentioned has an important truth, that greater things are to be expected of those who have greater abilities or other greater advantages, and part of the greater things which are to be expected of them, may be to help those who do not have as many advantages. For instance, when I was at work yesterday, I helped a man who had a broken foot to get his work done. Why? Because he had a broken foot, and my feet were fine. My co-worker, who is very lazy would not help him, because she was lazy, and preferred to go smoke her cigarettes rather than help the man with the broken foot.

At any rate, there is no need to apologize for the rude post I wrote about, it really didn't bother me very much, I was more ashamed for the person writing such a bad thing than I was bothered. I have far more important things to do than to get bothered about something so unimportant as someone talking stupid.

Hmm, I would regard an 'opponent' and a 'critic' as two entirely different things. An honest 'critic' is likely to be my friend.

I will explain what I mean: I make chainmail jewelry. I am by no means perfect at making it, there is always room for improvement. Now, a person who is my friend, may be my 'critic' when seeing my jewelry, they will tell me if something is wrong with the way I made it. Why? Because they are my friend, and wish to see me improve in the making of my craft. It may be that they are mistaken in their criticism, and that my jewelry is fine the way it is, but their intent is to help me.

An 'opponent' would not be a 'critic' in this way. Why would an enemy tell me something to help me improve my jewelry making? Rather, an enemy would lie and flatter me and say my jewelry was the best that he had ever seen, so that I would become weak, and worse at making jewelry, rather than better.
