Don't mean to be anal, but your title should say "Straightening a womAn (singular)" not women (plural). Don't worry, I use to make the same mistake.

'Woman has been created from a rib and will no way be straightened for you, so if you want to benefit from her, you will benefit from her while crookedness remains in her. If you attempt to straighten her you will break her, and breaking her is divorcing her.

Why don't both (man & woman) talk to each other (as in Shura which is Sunnah), both compromise and both change?
Wouldn't it be better; no gender issues, no superiority/inferiority, no debates, no tittle-tattle.

Sometimes it's easier said than done. In a perfect world that would work.
Only way you can change others is by changing yourself first! Contrary to my belief, it is psychologically proven that it is a little easier changing a woman than a man. Men are very egotistical. It's harder for men to change themselves because of their very nature. Women on the other hand, I believe are more open minded to change.
I don't know the exact ratio, but I also happen to notice more women are open to reverting to Islam than men, because of their openness to change.

I think changing is a kind of striving ( Gehad).
It depends on how much we are honest with ourselves, how clear we see ourselves and how much we need to change to the best.
Anyone can change if he or she has the right intention and the correct motivation.
I think the best motivation to change is our desire to be acceptable in the sight of Allah and His messenger.

ive seen a lot of people change for good and for bad.
as for which sex, i don't think either are more prone.
i think people can be influenced by others to change, but i dont think any individual can change someone
it is easier to sin around sinners, and easier to be good around good people.

That would be a definely true. We as women are good at heart and are more likely to be change than a men. For a woman it takes small things to change our hearts and well as our personalitiess.
