I do agree that the thread has kept us up to the date with happenings in Egypt. It is fascinating that the internet can keep us informed though we are thousand miles apart and still get latest minute by minute updates. I am sure millions of expat Egyptians will be glued to their computer screens and TV sets.
Apart from that, we have not yet known about our role from the shariah of al Islam besides making dua. The thread hardly has any advice from scholars of knowledge albeit one (who is known for holding those 'type' of views). As members of TTI, we should concentrate on knowing the Islamic perspective rather than being completely sucked into the chaotic and desperate situation in Egypt faced by fellow brothers and sisters.

Well as a Muslim I personally need a good Muslim leader. But it is too soon to talk about who should be the president and whether do we want shariah or democratic. There are Christians as well and there are in fear that Muslim Brotherhood might rule the country. We all know that Muslim Brotherhood is no longer the same and there are many extremist and there is no room for extremism in Islam.

The social life in Egypt is not balance. There almost 5 percents of people who are filthy rich and there are people who are middle class who are struggling to have a better life and people who are considered to bein poverty.
