Asalaamu'Alykum,

What brings me come back is the kind and loving Brothers & Sisters. You could say we have some unity here. Alhamdulilah. You can share great news and any problems you may have because of the kindness and support expressed by members. It gives you some relief. It helps me to avoid a routine in terms of my worship, in other words striving to improve continuously, remove some of your weaknesses and converting them into strengths.

The question arises, How does a website do this? Well again the beneficial information, eye openers (stories and videos) although it comes down to the individual's thirst for knowledge. The members play the pivotal point in this process. Imagine a Product Life Cycle to identify this.

You have the Introduction stage, Growth stage - would be you learning more aspects of Islam you never knew about and your starting to reflect more, Maturity - you realise the importance of prayer - ability to concentrate more, reading Qur'an and the previous two stages would also involve the assistance of reliable books. The 2nd and 3rd stages require more analysis :). The difference here is you never by the Will of Allah reach the Saturation or Decline stages.

The second part, i would say the information available as brother Alkathiri stated, there is bags worth. Initially it looks like a lot although the main quest in my opinion for many new members is too find the ruling on common issues that arise. I am referring to the muslims here but non-muslims too - what is Islam actually all about? And Alhamdulilah TTI provides this very well.

That did not really sum it up, it require more reflection personally.

Alhamdulilah

P.S: May Allah reward you all for the assistance that i have received. I remember one of the first threads of mine was "Tahajjud" Alhamdulilah to brother Abdul Hasib and a sister/s, i can't remember also helped me. The whole process was initiated because of that, i was reading the Qur'an Alhamdulilah but overall my knowledge i was like the thickness of a twig. I can say now that has increased a little. :)

Wasalam

Asalaamalikum,

The reason I keep logging on to TTI is because I feel like I have to increase my faith every day. A lot of times the news on TV is filled with distortion and propaganda.

The internet plays a valuable tool. Who would of ever thought technology would be used to help spread Islam. From the coldest part of Siberia to the hottest desert of the Sahara - the light of Allah swt is being illuminated, even in the most hostile environments. Seeing people revert to Islam confirms my beliefs more than before. It's only the wise ones that do accept Islam as their creed and way of life.

assalamo alaikum..

well initially I came here to earn more knowledge (and corrections) on deen..because I lacked much of it..
and alhamduliallah and mashallah..I have earned quite a bit of it..
but something else happened..
interacting with all the sisters and brothers and such..helped me reform my communication with others..I can say that TTI helped grow to accept others' point of views..express mine..be willing to be corrected..etc.
I never experienced that before..I would come on too strongly..declined discussing many matters..because I felt that there's no room for that..and worst of all..I was not humble enough to think that I could be wrong in what I say or believe..
I am also earning the pleasure of being around so many brothers and sisters..who are devoted to their deen (mashallah!)..
and where I live that is not available for me..so it's really nice to be around people who share the same interests as I do..especially that of learning and educating others about Islam
I can go on and on and on about this..but I really love TTI..and I don't come here just day after day..a lot of times..I come here *numerous* times a day..
I guess I am like many others here..a TTI addict!

wa alaikum assalam

Sister in Islam
salaam aleikoum,

i found tti through seeing it linked on a youtube revert video. As i was (and still am) a new revert i wanted to check it out.

I loved the videos, and the topics. i did used to post on another muslim forum but the age range wasn't mixed and to be honest they had all these picky finicky rules such as to join the sister section i had to post 400 times, 50% must cantain Quranic advice...etc. as a new muslim thats beyond my capability. That site is doing new revert sisters and bro's an injustice.

Anyways....Alamdulilah I found TTI, and a lovely bunch of people I have learnt things from and continue to do so every day i log on. I have made friends on here, i have learnt things on here...can you really ask for more! its just an all round great site!

Assalam,

I like TTI because it fun and interesting but one thing they bringings me back every time i have free time is the posts of the memebers and our different views on one topic. I LOVE the fact we have one faith and believe but we have different ways of viewing topics. What i like the best about TTI is spending time with my muslim sisters and brothers whom i don't know that don't judge me and the respect we show each other although we don't agree on every topics. And being with people whom i can call my people.

Because I love all the Muslims and we are Family!!

I wish it was easy for me to log in and enjoy the site, but a lot of the time I have to go through all PMs, emails and other stuff to sort out. But, it is worth it.

I really like that there are Muslims from all over the world here and we all speak and discuss like one family. The most important asset of the site are its members and this site is made for any Muslim regardless of their background, as long as they adhere to Quran and Sunnah. May Allah help us all.

This site, is not finished yet. :) I want to make it many times better. InshaAllah.

Really, we have a big problem throughout the Muslim world and especially in the West. Muslims have so much to see and learn. Right now, people learn their Islam from people who are not even Scholars of Islam. It is important that we can see what "knowledge" is, and what really makes someone a Scholar of Islam. Merely graduating from a university and having a phd does not make someone a scholar of Islam.

InshaAllah, I hope that we can have information here that is from the scholars. So that we can access the knowledge from the right sources, instead of relying on people who are merely students or even people who have no knowledge at all ! -

And in reality, people learn very little from such and it is one of the signs of day of judgement..

The way forward is for us to stick to the Quran and the Sunnah and really study and understand the Islamic sources from the classical books of Islam and know who were the great Imams and scholars of the past and of our times now.

We are suffering from one crisis. A knowledge crisis. Just as some people go shops and look for best bargain and have allllllllllllll the information about where to get the best car deals and which models are bad for buying etc etc, people must make a great effort to learn Islam from the right sources.

Allah help us. This is so important. And the real Islam is always the middle and easy path.

wasalamu alaykum
