IT IS BECAUSE -as the prophet<saw> said in one hadith -the world is prison for the believer and paradise for the non believer.

in another hadith of bukhari - someone told the prophet saw that a jew was sayimg that we dont suffer from waswasaas like you people-the prophet saw said he is right what will satan do with a ruined house- meaning they are already destroyed

Ya Elahi!
Well the thing is satan already has non-believers under his control and when you get guided by Allah (swt) satan tries to intervene to get you misguided once more so everything seems harder

you just have to repel the shaitan

When one lives his/her life subdued by his/her whims and desires..lacking every atom of discipline of conscious towards their actions and the consequences which ensue...it is not because Allah has *let go of them*..it is because to them life is a party requiring a lot of self-concocted *hype* so it would *go on and on*..and *that de facto* unleashes the frigidness of *apathy* which quickly turns into a ruinous *frostbite of consciousness*...

A guided person..quite literally..is *the opposite*...they are nourished with the Light of Allah (swt)..and they find a *security* in putting *themselves* as humans bounded to Allah's Might & Pleasure under *a spotlight* of spiritual and practical chastisement

Muslim :: Book 40 : Hadith 6778
Anas b. Malik reported(radi allahu 'anhu): The Paradise is surrounded by hardships and the Hell-Fire is surrounded by temptations.
Muslim :: Book 40 : Hadith 6779
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira through another chain of transmitters.

Muslim :: Book 33 : Hadith 6400
'Ali(radi allahu anhu) reported that one day Allah's Messenger (sallahu 'alyhi wasallam)) was sitting with a wood in his hand and he was scratching the ground. He raised his head and said: There is not one amongst you who has not been allotted his seat in Paradise or Hell. They said: Allah's Messenger. then, why should we perform good deeds, why not depend upon our destiny? Thereupon he (sallahu 'alyhi wasallam)said. No, do perform good deeds, for everyone is facilitated in that for which he has been created; then he recited this verse:" Then, who gives to the needy and guards against evil and accepts the excellent (the truth of Islam and the path of righteousness it prescribes), We shall make easy for him the easy end..." (xcii. 5-10).
Muslim :: Book 33 : Hadith 6402
Jabir reported that Suriqa b. Malik b. Ju'shuin came and said: Allah's Messenger(sallahu 'alyhi wasallam), explain our religion to us (in a way) as if we have been created just now. Whosoever deeds we do today, is it because of the fact that-the pens have dried (after recording them) and the destitiles have began to operate or these have effects in future? Thereupon he(sallahu 'alyhiwasallam) said: The pens have dried tmd destinies have begun to operate. (Suraqa b. Malik) said: If it Is so, then what is the use of doing good deeds? Zuhair said: Then Abu Zubair said something but I could not understand that and I said. What did he say? Thereupon he said: Act, for everyone is facilitated what he intends to do.
Muslim :: Book 33 : Hadith 6404
'Imran b. Husain repotted that it was said to Allah's Messenger (sallahu 'alyhiwasallam)): Has there been drawn a distinction between the people of Paradise and the denizens of hell? He(sallahu 'alyhiwasallam) said: Yes. It was again said: (If it is so), then What is the use of doing good deeds? Thereupon he(sallahu 'alyhiwasallam) said: Everyone is facilitated in what has been created for him.

when you enter in eman with conviction then Allah SWT tests your emman as in Surah Al-Ankabut He SWT said;

:bismillah:

1. Alif*!Lâm*!Mîm.

[These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings.]

2. Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested.

3. And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allâh will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allâh knows all that before putting them to test).

4. Or those who do evil deeds think that they can outstrip Us (i.e. escape Our Punishment)? Evil is that which they judge!

5. Whoever hopes for the Meeting with Allâh, then Allâh's Term is surely coming. and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

6. And whosoever strives, he strives only for himself. Verily, Allâh is free of all wants from the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).

7. Those who believe [in the Oneness of Allâh (Monotheism) and in Messenger Muhammad , and do not apostate because of the harm they receive from the polytheists], and do righteous good deeds, surely, We shall remit from them their evil deeds and shall reward them according to the best of that which they used to do.
furthermore the same Surrah continue with the same topic;
10. Of mankind are some who say: "We believe in Allâh," but if they are made to suffer for the sake of Allâh, they consider the trial of mankind as Allâh's punishment, and if victory comes from your Lord, (the hypocrites) will say: "Verily! We were with you (helping you)." Is not Allâh Best Aware of what is in the breast of the 'Alamîn (mankind and jinns).

11. Verily, Allâh knows those who believe, and verily, He knows the hypocrites [i.e. Allâh will test the people with good and hard days to discriminate the good from the wicked (although Allâh knows all that before putting them to test)].
i 'll quote a saying of a reputed scholar of isalm (amam gazali or sheikh saadi m unable to recall exact name)
when you purchase a ceramic bawl you check it by all means,,,, and when Allah select a heart for emaan then He test it with troubles and trials,
an other benefit of hardships is that be become conscious about our life, we realize that this world is just a trail in any case either we are in ease or in trouble .
