Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, "Seven people will be shaded by Allah under His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His. They are:

(1) a just ruler;

(2) a young man who has been brought up in the worship of Allah, (i.e. worship Allah (Alone) sincerely from his childhood),

(3) a man whose heart is attached to the mosque (who offers the five compulsory congregational prayers in the mosque);

(4) two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's cause only;

(5) a man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for an illegal sexual intercourse with her and says: I am afraid of Allah;

(6) a person who practices charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given (i.e. nobody knows how much he has given in charity).

(7) a person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes get flooded with tears."

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) told his companions: “If one of
you had a stream running at his door and bathed in it five times every day,
do you think any dirt would be left on him?” His companions answered: “No
dirt at all would be left.” To which the Prophet replied: “That is what the
five (daily) prayers are like, with which God washes away your sins.”

When the Prophet (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) was asked which people suffered the greatest affliction, he replied, "The prophets, then those who come next to them, then those who come next to them. A man is afflicted in keeping his religion. If he is firm in his religion his trial is severe, but if there is weakness in his religion it is made light for him, and it continues like that till he walks on the earth having no sin."

Narrated by Sa'd (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Tirmidhi,
Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it.

Narrated Umar bin Al-Khattab

I heard Allah's Apostle Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A person once went to visit his brother in another town, and God sent an Angel to wait for him on his way. The angel met the man and said to him: 'Where do you intend to go?' The man said: 'I intend to go to my brother in this town.' The angel then said: 'Have you done any favor for him (the repayment of which you intend to receive)?' The man replied: 'No, except that I love him for the sake of God, the Exalted and Glorious.' Thereupon the angel said: 'I am a messenger to you from God (to inform you) that God loves you as you love him (for His sake).'"

On the authority of abu huraira abdu ar-Rahman ibn sakhir (may allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the messenger of Allah (may the blessingand peace of Allah be upon him) say:

What I have forbidden to you, avoid; what I have ordered you (to do), do as much of it as you can. It was ony their excessive questioning and their disagreeing with their prophets that destroyed those who were before you.

it was related by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "I guarantee a house in the surroundings of paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he is in the right, a house in the middle of paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he is joking, and a house in the upper part of paradise for a man who makes his character good."

O our Lord! All the praises are for You

Narrated Rifa'a bin Rafi AzZuraqi:

One day we were praying behind the Prophet. When he raised his head from bowing, he said, "Sami'a-l-lahu Liman hamida." A man behind him said, "Rabbana walaka-l hamd hamdan Kathiran taiyiban mubarakan fihi" (O our Lord! All the praises are for You, many good and blessed praises). When the Prophet completed the prayer, he asked, "Who has said these words?" The man replied, "I." The Prophet said, "I saw over thirty angels competing to write it first." Prophet rose (from bowing) and stood straight till all the vertebrae of his spinal column came to a natural position.

(the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah's Apostle:saw: "O Allah's Apostle:saw: ! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?" Allah's Apostle :saw: replied, "Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes off after I have grasped what is inspired. Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says." 'Aisha added: Verily I saw the Prophet:saw: being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over).

Allah's Messenger (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) said, "Invoke many blessings on me on Friday for it is witnessed. The angels are present on it, and no one will invoke a blessing on me without his blessing being submitted to me till he stops." I asked whether that applied also after his death, and he replied, "Allah has prohibited the Earth from consuming the bodies of the prophets; so Allah's prophets are alive and given provision."

Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Narrated Aisha (the mother of the faithful believers) The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah's Apostle:saw: was in the form of good dreams which came true like bright daylight, and then the love of seclusion was bestowed upon him.:saw: He used to go in seclusion in the cave of Hira where he used to worship (Allah alone) continuously for many days before his
desire to see his family. He :saw: used to take with him the journey food for the stay and then come back to (his wife) Khadija to take his food likewise again till suddenly the Truth descended upon him while he was in the cave of Hira.
The angel came to him and asked him to read. The Prophet :saw: replied, "I do not know how to read." The Prophet :saw: added, "The angel caught me (forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He
then released me and again asked me to read and I replied, 'I do not know how to read.' Thereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to
read but again I replied, 'I do not know how to read (or what shall I read)?' Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed me, and then released me and said, 'Read in the name of your Lord, who has created (all that
exists) has created man from a clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous." (96.1, 96.2, 96.3) Then Allah's Apostle:saw: returned with the Inspiration and with his heart beating severely. Then he went to Khadija bint Khuwailid and said, "Cover me! Cover me!" They covered him till his fear was over and after that he told her everything that had happened and said, "I fear that something may happen to me." Khadija replied, "Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your kith and kin, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the deserving calamity-afflicted ones." Khadija then accompanied him to her cousin Waraqa bin Naufal bin Asad bin 'Abdul 'Uzza, who, during the Pre-Islamic Period became a Christian and used to write the writing with Hebrew letters. He would write from the Gospel in Hebrew as much as Allah wished him to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight. Khadija said to Waraqa, "Listen to the story of your nephew, O my cousin!" Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen?" Allah's Apostle :saw: described whatever he had seen. Waraqa said, "This is the same one who keeps the secrets (angel Gabriel)
whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out." Allah's Apostle :saw: asked, "Will they drive me out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said, "Anyone (man) who came with something similar to what you have brought was treated with hostility; and if I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while.

Jabir bin 'Abdullah Al-Ansari narrated while talking about the period of pause in revelation reporting the speech of the Prophet saw "While I was walking, all of a sudden I heard a voice from the sky. I looked up and saw the same angel who had visited me at the cave of Hira sitting on a chair between the sky and the earth. I got afraid of him and came back home and said, 'Wrap me (in blankets).' And then Allah revealed the following Holy Verses (of Quran):

'O you (i.e. Muhammad:saw: )! wrapped up in garments! Arise and warn (the people against Allah's Punishment),...' up to 'and desert the idols.' (74.1-5) After this the revelation started coming strongly, frequently and regularly."

Salaam,

Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The
Prophet (PBUH) said: There was a dispute between the Hell and Jannah. The
Hell said: "The haughty and proud are my inmates.'' Jannah said: "The
modest and the humble are my residents". Thereupon, Allah the Exalted and
Glorious (addressing Jannah) said: "You are My Mercy, through you I shall
show mercy to those whom I wish". (And addressing the Hell), He said: "You
are (the means) of My punishment by which I shall punish such of My slaves
as I wish and each one of you would have its fill".
