All muslim countries, seems are having same problem, leaders. Muslim nations need to strengthen their islam and raise new leadres, that will replace these corrupted ones, and care better for the faith of their nations, their security and their lives. When islam strengthen in peoples hearts, Assadis and Gadaffs oppresion will be ended by the hand of the true muslims with the help of Allah.

Sister Um_Mustafa, it is our earnest request to the Muslims of Libya to not go for democracy, (you can see the results by looking at Bangladesh). Islamic laws backed by democracy is not at all compatible. If you want to establish shariah then do so in the proper way. Establish the shura council. And I hope the new leaders of Libya would help their brothers and sisters in Palestine and teach Isra-hell a lesson for life.

The agenda of the US and it's Allies is to create a liberal democracy there. If that does not happen, they will call them terrorists and invade them just like what happened to the mujahideen when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. US considers the rebels "freedom fighters" now, how long untill they are called "terrorists"?

Salams Brother ,
very true what you say , there seems to be already in fighting for power in Libya and we are still not free of Gaddafi yet, every one wantsa piece of the cake, as for going for an Islamic state, which would be ideal, in a ideal world! is not something one can call for openly because of so much outside influence and people have already been labeled as so called "strict muslims ".

It will take a lot of work and paitence and with the help of Allah ta'laa we will get a better country to live in without outside influences as the majority of the Libyan people want a moderate Islamic country.
It has been a big upheaval and many people have died, inshallah we have to keep hold tight to our religion and rely only on Allah Ta'laa to help us through this very differcult stage, also now the people have no fear to say what they want and this is a great achivement, so in the end they will not let any one back like gaddafi and the new ones who will be in power are going to have to be very careful how they govern.
They have already been warned that the peoples blood is not cheap. So every one will give their opinions and inshallah it will be the irhgt one Ya Rabbi guide us all to the dtright path inshallah.

As salam,

That's the whole point, the new leader has to come from your own group that raised against, then you can have some trust. Otherwise the new one, will be careful from you in begining, then the main concern will be the outside influence. You will be going same trials. This is what is wrong with muslims movement. It is not organized and planned. Before you start any movement you have to have your leader, so you know where it is going to end. The sporadic moves are not going to help us, only bring anarchy. I hope one day, muslim movements be more planned, more determined and with true resolution. They simply wanted Gaddafi out, but who would replace him, and what they will be expecting of the new leader. You have to have the trust of new leader, before you fight for him. At the end, it comes to bringing the new leader that will stand for what you fought for. You have to take more time to decide what you want and how you plan to achieve it, get all in one mind, then raise and fight for it. The fight should come after truly well thought goals and ways to achieve them. Only this way success is a more plausible end with help of Allah, inshaeAllah.
I long for a day when our events are more a course of our growth then a result of spurr of a moment, where our enemies can take advantage easily.

As salam sister, and may Allah nguide us and help us in our path to Him. Amin!

Yes, but bear in mind that Libyans too want a Democratic state, save a minority. The west is helping those who want to be helped.

I fear that in the end, Libya will end up with a sham government, a Gaddafi clone who will be a puppet of the West.

You're right. Why do you think NATO and UN broke in if it wasn't to put a Libyan government of their own.

I'm not what you believe
can be possible that Gheddafi too was "puppet" of the governatives?they naybe don't need his presence anymore and he became a criminal...
it's happening something similar in italy and something happened with Strauss Khan, one of the biggest bank-men...how can I say, maybe there is "someone" more powerful that makes its own interests over the lives/reputations of the most rich people of the world...those powerful persons may act to destroy an order and give shape to another one.that's why maybe Gheddafi has become a criminal:some months ago he shaked his hand with Berlusconi and now each State is running to go to Libya and catch the petrole overthere.I read a hadith which says that Allah will not look to the face 3 kinds of people:<the vulgar old-man,the liar and a bad ruler>.indeed Gheddafi was a bad ruler,by the witnesses of the most population of Libya, who cries:<A Sha'b,yurid asqat al nida'>.if I'm wrong, please correct me.

The West wants the oil resources of Libya, just like they wanted the oil in Iraq.

Afghanistan was the throwaway invasion, so the West can claim "See, we don't just invade countries with oil. We invade desert and mountains too. Oh and have you seen a guy in white robes who may or may not be on dialysis?"

True, times are difficult for you out there. Really difficult, situation I have not or many of us have not yet faced. However, times like this will probably come in a hundred years. If the people of Libya do not strive to establish an Islamic State going against all odds such as the outside influence (not being afraid) of the Tyrants and Taghuts of the world, the Pharaohs of today, rather fearing Allaah and putting their trust in Him alone. Trust me, you really do not want to end up being Pakistan or Bangladesh. In the start everything will look good and Islamic, but as days pass people will easily deviate away from the deen very quickly. When majority of the people will vote for legalization of alcohol/interest/homosexuality, the state will be quick to bring those in to effect.

I will tell you. Because is outer influence that has taken over, not Libya. And when they take over, these are the outcomes they have in their mind. That's why muslim nations should be careful to solve their situations, before they become subject of "West reach out". They have to do everything to keep western influence, NATOs, UN and all else Hell out of their bussiness..

Bangaldeshi people also fought a war and it was a 9 months long war. It was to establish its democratic right. The leader who was elected president was being barred from taking his seat and then the government in power exerted force and attacked unarmed people. Which eventually led to the freedom fight. I know what I am talking about. And sister, for me there is no my country your country. Every piece of Muslim land is my country. Nationalism is kufr, check out the thread by brother Salahdin.
