Assalaam walaikum,

I just wanted to say...you are one strong sister. I have to respect that.

Why, thank you! I am not sure what I've done to deserve this compliment but it did warm my heart. Sister Aapa, we are truly like sisters when you think about it. We rarely agree on most issues but in the end we are sisters and nothing will change that.

I love you for your clever sense of humor, your wisdom and your ability to thrive even in the most challenging of situations. Your presence here is a gift and a blessing.

Assalaam walaikum,

I am too old to give compliments...I just tell the truth..ok...let me think of something to get everyone's hair raised up a wee bit.

Assalaam walaikum,

There are times to be private and there are times to be public. This was time to be public. Trust me we have PMed and it has always been good.

Careful on the praising everyone :) Although there are extents, esp for encouragement, we know the dangers of it well (this is nothing against ukht ShyHijabi).

Thread is going to be closed, I don't think it's fair to make such individualized threads in the public section where most people cant really feel included or join in.

May Allaah reward you all for all your participation and good contributions here. BaarakAllaahu feekum.

I remind them that its not important. Whats important is what Allâh think about us! This thread should stay. I agree with Aapa that the sister is very strong.

Assalaam walikum,

Idris..lets find a more challenging topic to discuss..I was thinking do you know what the average unemployment rate is in the Muslim majority countries..not the poverty rate..just the average rate of unemployment..recent figures..just a thought.

Sorry, I forgot to lock this.

It's more than just being exclusive, it also has to do with praise and all that. Thanking people for their help is one thing, making du'aa for them publicily and privately is also the same, but we know from the Sunnah that praising to onesface was never recommended. In addition, although it shouldn't matter what anyone but Allaah thinks of us, at the same time we shouldn't open the door to ill feelings or fitnah. Unless we want to open up a personal thread about every person, it's inevitable that some people will feel bad about it, simply because they are human and this is a somewhat human trait.

Anyway, May Allaah love you all and increase you in goodness. I hope you all had a happy 'Eid.
