Assalaam walaikum,

The essence of this thread is to have exact definition of compassion. Do we not learn that misguided compassion leads to ignorance and greater evil.

Why would you sit in the company of Jews when you can sit in the company of Believers? Is that not better?
You get more rewards don't you? There is that line you have to draw..yes, you can befriend a Jew..but you can not be intimate with him. He is not your brother. Am I wrong.

Yes, there are good Jews, Christians, etc. etc. but they are not Believers. If they were Believers, the Jew, would not be the Chosen One.

As a female it is very difficult to make friends with non-Muslim women. I have written much on this.

I am no one to speak on behalf of the Syrian people. Why do I keep reading the word democracy. Why are arms from kufr countries being shipped to the rebels. Why are banners on all magazines showing us the pride of the Syrian people.

Why not the same for the people of Sudan. I have been waiting? Where are the pleas to help.

Anyhow, I bid everyone a good day.

Why should I support a group of people who seek help from the Jew? And the Jew is known for wishing all of us dead.

But, we are told not to befriend the Jew are we not? To you yours and to me mine...do we not recite that each day, at least once?
You are speaking without knowledge. This is the only thing I can say.

Assalaam walaikum,

How?

Are we not responsible for the words of Allah that we utter every morning?

Please explain this to me? Am I wrong in stating that we need to adhere to the words of Allah?

Anyone can say anything they want...you state I am ignorant..as this is what I have been asking...what is the exact nature of the fight? What is the plan? Who are the players in the game? What are the Laws of Allah in regard to this?

I keep reflecting on Sura Kalf. Where is the line of demarcation for the Believer. Is that not the Quran and the implementation of Sharia?

So before you call me ignorant and expect me to believe that I am an ignoramus please be so kind as to provide your proof.

How sending help as baby food or band-aid to wounded people would be against will and laws of Allah?

He is the most Mercifull? Can´t we be same for those in need?

Assalaam walaikum,

I think I must have the worst communication skills in the world.

Sister,

What I am trying to say is do what you need to do. It is an individual choice.

But, we can not hold Believers to account for that which does not move them.

Whereas many feel it is an obligation to help the Muslims in Syria, it is not. That does not make the person who does not wish to help any less of a Believer.

We can be most compassionate by not getting involved. We have to look at the big picture. If a person does not wish to participate i.e give money or aid it does not make them ignorant or evil. And ranting and raving is not going to change the situation.

This thread is on the verge of asking for jihad. That is big time. There are rules under Sharia. And that is the bottom line.

The Syrians are the only ones who can answer to what they really want. Until there is a single voice that comes out of Syria that states they want Sharia, there is no compulsion on the Believer.

Now, as a human being with limited knowledge of a global picture yes, I can be moved.

But, this begets the question: Do you want to send the devil a band-aid?

I believe this is getting monotonous. And if I have written wrong I ask Allah subhana wa taala to forgive me. But, I will not send the devil a band-aid.

Who can say that person who is wounded by bombings of Syrian army is evil?

Who can say that baby who is starving my lack of milk is evil?

Allah only.

Assalaam walaikum,

By the same argument Sister, you can not judge a person, if they with limited knowledge and good intentions wish to follow the Law of Allah.

You have not provided anything from Sharia.

What may look like an act of injustice and mercilessness can be the most compassionate act. Is that not written in the Quran?

Assalaam walaikum,

The problem with Syria is that the rebels are backed by Israeli and the US

Precious Star..slow down and read what I have asked. This is about being a Believer. Your argument is too simplistic. A brother has already responded that we do not have any obligation to help. This is all about the Law of Allah. We have to do what Allah loves.

Pure and simple Islam is clearly defined. It is not opinion.

There is no complacency of Muslims. Learn the law of Allah, sister. I am not complacent what so ever. I do believe you have rushed to judgement.

This is not about religion.

Do not judge the brothers and sisters who are not on the emotional and political bandwagon.

We all know that the current regime will be ousted shortly. But it will not be replaced by Islamic principals. The Syrians do not want to be under Islamic rule. They have said so. I did not say it ..they did.

What do you not understand about that.

Yes, Esperanza...if you took the time to read..you will discover this rebellion did not happen spontaneously. Read sister. Find out the facts.

I do not wish to get personal with you Esperanza. I do not live in a democracy.

salam sister and ido not want to get personal but....
the rebels are never backed by israelis,,,,you get your facts right,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

we have no obligation to help ??how??

charity is one of most important things in charity

if we found a non believer or an animal dying or needing food or water we should help them

but muslims are dying wihtout food and medical aiod and we should not help tell me why????

believe it or not iknow people involved from start of rebeliion and how it statde it is not as oyu think some orchestrated ourtisde resitance
you are reading propoganda

who told you they dont wnat islamic rule
any rule will be more islamic than a leader comitting shirkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Assalaam walaikum,

Sister... I do not generalize...I read...what is out there. So..do you support rebels who are getting help from the Jew and kill the people of Palestine.

Brother,

The problem with your statement is that the people in the times of the Prophet, swas, were not generations upon generations of Muslims.

This entire post is about helping Muslims..the Syrians are Muslims..did I miss the boat here? These are Muslims.

The Muslims who wish to live under the Law of Allah know what Allah loves and hates. They are not hidden.

sister where did uget this the rebles are not helped the jews the israeilis prefer assad to stay

Assalaam walaikum,

I am not being unfair.

Brother,

Slow down....here we have a thread on Muslims being complacent on helping other Muslims. I am attempting to gain understanding of what the real situation is. The Muslims in Syria, the rebels, are taking help from the Jews who also give aid to killing Muslims.

Why should I support a group of people who seek help from the Jew? And the Jew is known for wishing all of us dead.

But, we are told not to befriend the Jew are we not? To you yours and to me mine...do we not recite that each day, at least once?

Yes, I am walking that line...but we have to in life don't we....we have to have the absolute.

Brother, the most fundamental component of jihad is education. I have to know what Allah subhana wa taala has declared to be right. All my decisions have to factor from that knowledge. If I do not have knowledge of my faith...and do not use Islam as the backbone of my decisions than everything else is banter. And the Syrian situation is just political.

A group of Muslims who do not know what they want. They are taking help from everyone. They know for sure it is not Islam they want to live under. Is there any compulsion that I aid them..none what so ever. Does this make me non-Believing..not at all. Does this make me heartless..not at all.

And as a Believing woman there is little need for me to interact with a Jew. It is better that I do not. I know I am correct on this one, too.

sorry sister but you push me ..you live in a country controlled by jews where you pay taxes..where jews will benefit why?????
