hey sis thanks for the add, and I really appreciated what you said on my post it was sweet =)

It was just the usual. However, today I heard back from a hospital here where I'd applied to volunteer in their Billing section. A hospital finance section is like my dream job, since I minored in finance, but can't work in banks because of the interest thing.. So I'll start volunteering there and hope to gain experience. Maybe in the long run they'll hire me? I can dream... I've also been constantly applying to lots of entry-level oil and gas company positions, since there are a lot of big name corporations where I am, but everything they require is requiring at least 2 years experience... which I do not have. Oh well. You work in Pharmacy, right sis? I'm sorry if I'm mistaking what your work is. Sigh... I just want to get married so I won't have to worry about work that much Seriously, taking care of a home is more my kind of thing, or at least working part time and not having to worry about every aspect of life solo..

Don't worry sis, surely we're getting rewards for being patient everyday

It's just a one off thing, I hope. I will refuse if they give me late night shifts again, because I am paranoid of returning late and driving at night. I don't have a good job - its just an entry level retail part time position, and I need a better job. I have education, but no one's counting that since I don't have work experience at all.. so have to start at the bottom.. pray for me! I've applied and applied, but this was the only place I got a response from.

Things are just okay right now.. I've been given a shift that ends at 10pm, so I'm worried/scared about getting home okay.. Oh well. not everything works like how we plan it, but I'm still grateful for everything.

I just click on my VMs, and then for each their's a "View Conversation" link. So I click on that to reply to each one. Glad you discovered how to work it

Alhamdulillah I'm doing fine. I've started my new entry-level job, and passed my drivers license road test in the past week, so I'm thankful for everything. I pray things are well on your side as well. So what's been going on? How are you?

thats beautiful, you cant believe how happy i am for you about your son, honestly it brings me such joy. i think in his heart he is definately a Muslim, i hope he takes shahadah soon. it is actually the miracle of the Quran that has made hime remember the verses subhanAllah.
im glad that you dont feel so lonely alhamdulilah you make a great role model for this beautiful faith

Wow your message made me cry. I want to assure you I dont feel "alone" at all with my Islam anymore. Maybe in the first few months or the "adjustment period" as I like to call it. It was difficult then but now I am very well adjusted to practicing my Islam. My son is very interested and he is praying now at least Isha every night with me. A few days he spent the night at his friends house but when he came home he told me "I cant get those prayer words out of my head Mom" so I asked him what words and he said "the ones you say when we pray at night". Alhamdulillah Allah made the words stick in his mind. I am soooooooo happy for this blessing and answer to my prayer. Allahu Akbar.

yes i tried to learn some of the qawaaid in the summer when i went to sham- the mobtada'a wa al-khabar, al fi'il, fa'ail, mofool beehee etc- there is so much to learn, i found it a little hard because it was all new to me. i saw in my dream that i went to visit saudiya

i know that atamana is with alif maqsoorah. i try my best with arabic- i have lived a non-muslim country all my life and did not have any arabic teachers so i try my best. alhamdulilah i understand the quran in arabic and can read many arabic books- it is my writing that is weak
