Seeking Allah's Love
Assalamualaikum

We need female doctors now.. It's good to have female doctors to treat female patients.

If u think u can study that hard for medicine, then just do it.

May Allah bless you and protect you.

yes, medical is a good profession for ladies......
i am astonished to see male gynaecologists every where in muslim societies.
ladies can help lady patients by becoming good gynaecologists, physicians, ophthalmologists, ultrs sound specialists, surgeons, dentists, etc. etc.

Very good question
Some people never can't be what they want.
One of them I am.I always wanted to be a footballer
but no chances now.However inshaALL-LLAH I'm going
to study sport sciences,and if I don't become a
footballer I want to be a manager of anyone.
I would like my son to be a footballer ,I'll support him
always.ALL-LLAH is our Creator and Dominant.
I ask him to give me the job I want.
InshaALL-LLAH you'll have the job you want.

Asalamu 'Alaykuum,

Inshallah I'll be starting my Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication (Graphic's Design, Illustration, photographer, art director, animator etc) in March of 2010 inshallah. I just finished High School so yeah, inshallah it should be good, I mainly want to become a Graphic Designer, Alhamdulillah I've already got jobs lined up, I recently completed a couple of jobs for my masjid, another two jobs for this brother, and I now have to design a new logo and BC for my brother in-law inshallah, he wants me to build him a design interface for his website but declined due to lack of experience in building sites, so I have to study that in Uni inshallah. All this without even entering my course yet and not even advertising that I'm a GD yet, so Alhamdulillah it should be good! Make du'a for me please!

Wasalam 'Alaykuum.

I voted other because I'm not sure, but I know I won't be a doctor or engineer or anything like that.

I would like to continue to work after marriage though, depending on the situation (if I liked my job, if money was needed, etc.). I believe women are capable of any job, and should work outside the home. I also disagree with the general idea that women should only be things like doctors, nurses, etc., or that certain jobs are suited best for women. I think women are needed in every field, and their presence benefits society. The only jobs I can think of that many (but not all) women would be unsuited for would be jobs like firefighters, miners, construction workers, etc.

Like ShyHijabi said, early Islamic history is filled with examples of women who worked outside the home. Women have been working and taking care of their families for a very long time - its a juggling act but it is possible to do without neglecting your family and without your kids turning out to be serial killers or something.

anyway, if you believe women have no business working after marriage then that is fine since its your opinion, but its really not okay if you look down on women who do choose to work after marriage. It certainly doesn't make them a bad wife or mother.
