Dream

Salam2You

Lil' Muslimah
Salaam alaikum!

I've been having a dream lately,

and this is what had been happening.

It was in Jannah, along with 2 pious muslimahs (best friends) of mine alone :shymuslima1:
We are skipping on the side of a beautiful sky blue, clear river, the shadow of a huge tree is making the brightness dark, with a beautiful textured darkness of dim, along with bright green grass underneath our shoes. We are linking arms and skipping, then sit down the river side and start singing this nasheed ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnICPgwCLtQ

It was the most beautiful dream I have ever seen.. It was absolutely amazing..

Does anyone know a meaning to this?
Thank you for looking, please feedback :hijabi:!

Assalaaamu alaikum,

Could I just add, what is dalil?
Dalil means, proof or evidence from the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Masha'Allaah....that is such a sweet dream, I ask Allaah to make it come true. Many of us dont have the ability of tell you the meaning, but as brother Ahmed said.....all good dreams are from Allaah:) so alhamdulillaah!

take care, salam

:salam2: bro,

there are 3 types of dreams. :)

Hadith - Bukhari 9:168, Narrated Abu Salama

I used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard Abu Qatada saying, "I too, used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard the Prophet saying, "A good dream is from Allah, so if anyone of you saw a dream which he liked, he should not tell it to anybody except to the one whom he loves, and if he saw a dream which he disliked, then he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil and from the evil of Satan, and spit three times (on his left) and should not tell it to anybody, for it will not harm him."

I am a psychology major in college right now lol. Dreams are a subconsious manifestation of desires, or fears, sometimes they are just memories that you have. You're dream is probably a desire to be good and get into Jannah.

I agree....I would also add that when we dream, we are free from personal controls and social limits so it allows us to truthfully examine and process events, thoughts, and problems. Without bad dreams, we would not be able to feel things like guilt, hate, confusion, pain, fustration...etc. The images are what most draw our attention. They are what we can identify with and understand best. They can also be derived from what we have been focused on. I had a dream where I was reading a Hadith. The Hadith I saw doesn't actually exist, but it helped me understand a concept that is hard for me to learn.

If the dream was about Jannah, then I agree that yes, you were feeling quite at peace with yourself, your Deen, and your Imaan. Well done and I'm so happy you are well.

yea basically that's what i meant to say.

also basically everything is from Allah (swt) but that's not what we are discussing here.

Dreams are of three types: rahmaani (those that come from Allaah), nafsaani (psychological, they come from within a person) and shaytaani (those that come from the Shaytaan). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Dreams are of three types: a dream from Allaah, a dream which causes distress and which comes from the Shaytaan, and a dream which comes from what a person thinks about when he is awake, and he sees it when he is asleep.” (al-Bukhaari, 6499; Muslim, 4200)

modern psychology is catching up with islaam. :p

I'm not what you believe
Brother Arzafar is right, but I also read that the dreams from Allah are those which someone has after the night, when it comes the light for salat al Fajr, they are the dreams from Him.subhanallah.by my personal interpretation I'd say that dreaming Jannah in a situation of total happiness,is what you're seeking, but that maybe you haven't found here on dunya.Something disturbes your calmess when you're awake so your mind gets free in the dreams. It's just supposition.who am I to know?:wasalam::hijabi:

mashaAllah ...............i will only say may your dream come ture .......ameen and yes every good dream is from Allah
say Alhumdulillah
