I didn't watch any of these, I don't want to see them, but thanks for posting them and Jazakallah khayran for the advisory warning. I have been vegatarian off and on for most of my adult life and I'm losing my appetite for meat again.
I understood for meat to be zabiha, it's not just the method of slaughter, but the animal must have a good quality of life too. In my opinion, the quality of life of food animals in this country is far from ideal. I don't know enough about where Halal butchers source their animals. I've been telling myself there's some happy farms out there where muslims raise animals, but I'm beginning to suspect, animals for Halal slaughter are redirected in the food chain much later. Can anyone enlighten me?
Sorry if I'm sounding like an animal rights radicalist, this is just stuff that is on my mind right now
